"My overall satisfaction with JCP.com is less than 1 star.
Let me summarize my experience. On or about 12/4, I placed an order for (6) pairs of pants.
Prior to that I had to return twice a pair of pants they sent because the color was wrong.
My order was sent in multiple packages and partially complete.
When I phoned the 1st time, I was told that orders are fulfilled from multiple distribution centers hence the multiple different packages delivered on different days.
However, one of the pants was missing. On one of the invoices it read "Backordered - We will ship on or before Dec 14. I called during the week of 12/14 asking the representative to confirm the pants will be delivered soon. Believe I was told they were scheduled for delivery on Monday 12/21. Last night (12/22/15) I called again as I had not received the pants. I was told that the pants were on backorder and they are scheduled for delivery on 12/23 (the rep needs better customer care skills). No surprise that today I received an e-mail indicating the order was cancelled as the product isn't available.

My assessment is that not only was I waiting weeks for the delivery and was told repeatedly and in writing that my order would be fulfilled multiple times only to learn that my order was cancelled one day before Christmas.

Good product, good price, terrible customer service. I made a decision this month to only do business with companies that offer a high level of customer service as all too often these companies talk a good game, but can't and don't deliver. Already this month I refused deliver on (2) products ordered online for poor customer care. For this reason, doing business with JCP.com seems less likely for me going forward.

""Ordered online (shirt) five days ago. UPS reports they have NOT received the item for shipping yet (despite JCP already assigning a tracking number to it.) Called customer service. Rep read off a list of ready-made excuses for why I'm wrong about it not having shipped yet and even some excuses to cover the chance that it may not have shipped yet. Funny, Amazon and Old Navy never had to make excuses to me. They always ship the same day- and I by ship I don't mean just assigning a tracking number to your order. It's probably my fault thoug. I was stupid enough to pay nearly $9 shipping on a $20 shirt in the first place. Never again JCP, no wonder you're tanking. UPDATE: Days later and not only was it never shipped , JCPENNY refunded me the full amount without contacting me with a reason nor even telling me that they are issuing a refund. I only found out because I noticed my PayPal account had been credited. Really JCP you couldn't even send a email or apology or an explanation or something? POOR communication, POOR service. BAD company. " "
