BUYER BEWARE - DON’T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

"Worst customer service EVER! They do not respond to emails, do not call back, do not even answer the phone, and they disconnect you! Ordered an e-gift card from them - took over 6 days to be emailed - called every day - FINALLY after 7 days, “it’s being sent out as we speak” - they wouldn’t even answer the phone so i could cancel the order! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! "

Death Knell For Sure

"I've been a customer dating back to the JR store on West 45th Street in NYC, what a toy store that was! Ordered last month and order was marked "Not Shipped" and it's still marked that way! The reply to my email said website's been redone, technical issues. So, I disputed my Amex charge, got a credit, THEN I get my order about 10 days later. In fairness they apologized and told me to keep it gratis. Decided to "kick the football" again 7 days ago...Reference sentence 2 above. Marked "Not Shipped", no reply to my email (2 days). Lew Rothman needs to come back as a consultant and get it going!"

Lost an over 10 year customer

"Attempted to place 2 separate orders (over ($500) and never received. Payed for 2 day shipping and on day 3 when they didn’t show up I called and they said, both time for some reason the order was cancelled ... and no follow up from them. Hope the owners of this retailer read this and understand they have lost a steady customer for life. Congratulations customer support ! Called on October 18,2019. "

Never Received Order

"HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - Placed a $500 order with overnight shipping. Two business days later after multiple attempts to get a hold of someone finally said my order "was being reviewed". I canceled my order and will never do business with this company again. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY - EVER!"

Non-existent customer service

"Don't bother emailing about a problem with your order. They don't respond. Don't bother calling "customer service" as you'll be on hold for hours. Don't bother leaving your phone number for a call back as that will never happen. I have been a customer for over 20 years and I have to say things there have deteriorated to the point that I'd suggest taking your business elsewhere. I'd give them 0 stars if that were possible."

Terrible order fulfillment

"The site jrcigars.com and its sister site cigars.com has the worst online order fulfillment ever. It’s like they don’t even know they have orders until you call to check on them. Then they always have the excuse that the warehouse is 3 days behind. They should change the name of their sites to 3daysbehind.com. My last order took 8 days to ship. Order before that I received 2 incorrect items out of 3. They’ve become a joke to deal with. I’d suggest going elsewhere until they get some knowledgeable people working there. "

What a joke of an operation

"I ordered 3 boxes of cigars. My email order confimation from them said to allow 2-6 business days for delivery. Fine. 12 days later, i called to find out the status of my order. I was put on hold for 10 minutes. When the representative came back on the phone, i was told that my order was never processed. i asked why i was not emailed or called, and all i got was i canned answer of bs. As there was no reason. You can tell when you call that they are a bunch of amateurs trying to run a business. BUY ELSEWHERE "

JR Cigars Problem

" Every auction that I win, i’m required to call customer service to place the order. Now I’m told the auction I wan is out of stock. This problem has been ongoing for six months. My recent purchase, An auction that I had won, was out of stock. That does it .I’ve spent several thousands of dollars over the past two years with JR Cigars. Redress was apathetic. It’s a computer problem. You win. "

Their Customer Service is worthless

"I have been buying from these guys for years but ignoring their bad service without researching for other online stores first. They regularly ship late, lose shipments or send me the wrong items. Never offering an apology or explanation. This has gone on for years and have contacted them to give them a chance to redeem themselves but they don't care about customer loyalty or but will eventually re-ship their products when that can. I even join their club and paid annual fees to avoid shipping cost but was occasionally charged for shipping. These people don't have any idea how to run their business and how to treat their customers. Problems that exist are never addressed or corrected. Don't buy from them when other online stores offer superior service."

"I have ordered pipe tabacco from them several times and never had a problem. This time I opened the bag and it has brown bugs in it. I have emailed them 3 times and no one is responding. I am done with this company."

"I wish that I had read the reviews first before ordering. I believe that I just got shammed, and they've already taken my money, but no sticks have been received. After calling customer service and holding, it seems evident that no ones home - no call backs either. This outfit needs to be reported to the BBB for fraud. "

Zero confidence they can deliver

"2nd time in six months that an order has taken more than 3 days to ship. Their website says "orders placed by 3pm ship same day." Not happening. Six months apart they couldn't get it right.

I agree prices are good as long as you don't actually need your stuff soon.

Back to Famous Smoke instead. Bye Bye JR.
