"Both ordering and confirmation of order was fast and straight forward, though there are no part/ item numbers that can be used as reference. I had a call confirming order the next day, however items received were not as pictured or not correctly described."

"I ordered a WaterPik WP-350 and received an email acknowledging the order stating there would be a delay because the item is back ordered. They requested that I call or write them. I tried calling and all I got was and answering machine although I called during the hours mentioned in the recording. I called at least 4 different times and only the answering picked up. I then emailed them to cancel the order and still have not heard back although they charged my credit card within and hour of the order. I am leery of this course of conduct and very much dissatisfied that I could not hear from them."

"This store sells cheap merchandise at high prices, then “stops working” with the manufacturers. This leaves the customer with nowhere to turn when the shoddy merchandise turns out not to work for its intended use.
Case in point:
I purchased an Acumen EON 202 Heart Rate Monitor in June 2004. I used it a few times and attributed its erratic readings to my lack of expertise. I scoured the manual and found that there was indeed an issue with the workings of the monitor. I contacted JPI Mall and they told me to send an email to the manufacturer. I did that repeatedly for three weeks with no response. I finally called JPI Mall back and THEN they gave me a contact email, to which between business trips I sent repeated pleas for help. Zip. Another call the JPI Mall produced a phone number and name. At last a human! She was kind enough and gave me some suggestions to try. Eventually, after several trips to the gym and replacing the original unit twice, we worked out the fact that this monitor would not work when used on the very popular StarTrac cardio equipment used at many gyms. Well, as that is where I need my heart rate monitored, this equipment is useless to me (and many others). This is never mentioned anywhere in the online or printed materials.
The manufacturer understandably maintains that since I bought the equipment elsewhere, they could not give me a refund. JPI Mall says that after sending me on so many wild goose chases for so long, the refund period has elapsed and will do nothing. I’m out $150.
