"I recently purchased a cover for my Nook from JAVOedge. After having delivery problems I contacted their customer service department and the response I received was "Unfortunately once we turn the package over to USPS it is their responsibility to deliver the package to you. If you have a complaint against USPS shipping service please contact them and let them know. We use USPS for nearly all of our packages and rarely have issues."

This is contrary to their policy that is listed on their website that clearly states that "If you have tracked your package and found any discrepancies in the delivery or have not received your order, please email us at ****@**** with your "order reference number" so we can research the status of your package and assist in resolving the issue."

JAVOedge has no intention of researching your delivery once it leaves their hands. At that point they have their money, and that is clearly the only thing they are concerned about. I am highly dissatisfied with their customer service department. The least they could have done would have been to email me back and apologize for the shipping delays (my package was, at one point, at a post office 30 mins from my house, and was then rerouted halfway across the country), and told me that they would look into it. Instead I'm told to contact USPS myself because they do not want to deal with it. This is absurd. I was planning on buying a matching iPhone case from them at a later date, but sadly they have now lost out on that sale, as well as any recommendation that I may have given to others looking for similar products.

Beware of this company, and any other company that does not list a phone number to call. There is a reason that they don't want to actually talk to their customers, because they just can't be bothered.

"I ordered the JAVOScreen - Anti-Glare Screen Protector (screen only) (PSCR-00180) for Apple iPod 4G 20GB for $5.95. I'm satisfied with it. It does what it's supposed to do. Not happy about the shipping costs though. The lowest shipping charge they offered was $3.95 for this very lightweight and small item that would fit in a small envelope."

"I ordered a charge/sync cable for my Treo 650. It does not sync. Phone cannot establish a connection w/ computer w/ this cable. The charge function works.

I tried to call them. There is no #.
I e-mailed them and asked to talk w/ them. They said, "...we prefer not to talk on the phone..."
I sent them more e-mail, they suggested I use their FAQ for tech support.
Their FAQ has 10 Q's, all of which deal with orders and/or returns, nothing about tech support.

Seems like a fly by night operation to me.

"I bought a JavoEdge leather case for my iPAQ as part of a bundled package. It came in two designs (a top flip or bottom flip). The ordering and shipping process was fast, no complaints there. When I received it I realised they sent me the wrong design (I really hate the bottom flip design).

The response I got back from JavoEdge was that they no longer make the design I ordered but they never bothered to update their website. Furthermore, they didn't even make the effort to inform me when they processed my order and just assumed it was the same to me nonetheless. I was peeved.

Anyhow, JavoEdge offered to refund the partial cost of the case (because it was part of a bundle) and would pay for the cost of shipping. I was not happy with this because I would never have bought the bundled items if it wasn't for the case itself. I tried to negotiate a fairer outcome by asking for a refund of the case without me having to ship the damn case back (international shipping) but they wouldn't budge.

Considering this was a major mistake on their part I don't think that my request was unreasonable. I've seen many other vendors go way out of their way to please when they make the stuff ups. They certainly don't live up to their customer satisfaction guarantee.

"I purchased a clearcase, sync cable and screen.
The sync cable fails to recharge my ipaq 4150 and the clearscreen adhesive did not stick. Hmmm... I will try to work with them, but I have a feeling they will leave me out in the cold as I am out of the country. I will post again with any updates.
