"Thank you Internet Security Systems for assisting me with locating the dual cassette deck which I ordered on 11/11/10. I received an email from you stating this model had been discontinued and you found me a replacement. This replacement was ordered 11/16/10, shipped 11/19/10, and I received the merchandise on 11/22/10. It is evident this company cares about their customers, and I certainly appreciate everything that Ryan Alster and Joel Dyer did to assist me with this purchase. I will definitely be ordering more merchandise from this company in the near future. Thanks again for caring for your customers. Have a wonderful Holiday Season!"

"Purchase experience was great and shipped fast. I found the product and ordered in less than 10 mins!

They were undoubtedly the CHEAPEST on the net for the IP Video Server I needed this week.

I already had 3 of them and I remember paying at least $399 a piece elsewhere, last year.
I got mine shipped from ISSI for less than $200.

Good job Internet Security Systems Inc. / issisecure.com and keep up the good work!

"I placed my order on 6/14/2010 at 8:20 AM. I specifically noted that I needed the order to ship same day, which I do not think is unreasonable given the time of the morning. When I received no word back from the seller that day, I called and spoke to Joel in the late afternoon. Joel indicated that the order would likely not ship today. I expressed my disappointment and his excuse was "we have a lot of orders from the weekend."

Tuesday comes and goes and Wednesday morning I get a call from Joel who informs me that not only did my order not ship Monday, it didn't ship Tuesday either. It gets better.

Joel goes on to inform me that the items I ordered are not even in stock, and that even though I have a confirmed sale receipt, I have to increase my order from 1 to 10 pieces? And beter yet, the second item I ordered is discontinued! So much for honoring the sale.

So here we have a mass marketing online store that doesn't maintain inventory, doesn't honor their sales contracts, doesn't update their website to reflect inventory or discontinued items and I have to wait 2 days to find out that my order is sitting on Joel's desk DOA.

And to make matters even worse, I went back to rate this company here at resellerratings and found that ISS had removed the link from their site. Apparently I'm not the only one with a complaint. Luckily I found this place in my web history.

Thanks for nothing ISS.

"High handling fee. Charged credit card immediately but still hasn't shipped as of 01/23/10. Emailed requestinf order status on 01/12/10 and received response next day that order was awaiting items from vendor and promised follow up status next day. Never received that update. I was charged immediately for items not in stock. Unacceptable business practices. I plan to cancel order and file dispute with my credit card company.
Follow up 03/8/10: Received email contact after negative review. Informed order could be cancelled if items had not been shipped from supplier. Eventually received final item 3/3/10. Multiple shipments from multiple sites might justify shipping/handling fees. Still believe backorder status should be clear at time of ordering to enable informed decision by buyer. Would now rate 3 stars out of 5 if I could change.
