Two days after emerging from chrysalids, a couple began mating, so for those of you with little ones be ready to explain whats happening. My son, 10, loves bugs and he said this is one of the best gifts ever. He sprays sugar water on his hand and the butterflies land on his hand, drink, and crawl. He loves that. After they are a week old we will release them. This has been a wonderful experience for the whole family.

"They sent the wrong product... a certificate instead of live bugs... which we needed in a timely way and had planned our ordering time carefully.
It was extremely disappointing and their response on the phone was to claim it as my fault instead of a defect of their computer ordering system.
PS it arrived late today...sent "3 day select" which would be very nice of them except it was needed this morning.. i.e. yesterday pm... not late this afternoon when it arrived, and i had specifically told the woman on the phone exactly what time it would be needed.
I carefully ordered live caterpillars, at a particular time... how their computer system switched it to a certificate instead is their problem and they should work on their system to prevent it from happening again.

In response to insect lore's response: again... make the website clearer and more accurate... so when i order live bugs they don't send me a certificate instead. I ordered live bugs... how they changed it to a certificate is their mistake. there would have been plenty of time if the order had gone through correctly."
