"I booked a round trip ticket and never received confirmation email. They took my money but never booked the flight. Lucky I suspected these guys are bad and was able to dispute charges.

Terrible Customer Service

"This company will get your money and that is as fair as it goes. They don't clearly state the currency you are paying in until you reach the checkout page, then if you have an issue and need to cancel, they charge you a Huge $50 per ticket fee in USD. Which is huge if the exchange rate is bad.

The customer service was awful, as they have no empathy at all and have no idea how to work with a customer that is in panic mode because their whole check is gone due to the undisclosed rate they charge on the checkout page.

Fire all of your customer service, or put them all through empathy classes

DO NOT USE this site!! RUN!!!!

"I booked a flight for 5 months ahead. I have a close family member that has fallen gravely ill and will most probably not get to go on the trip I called today (3 months ahead) to see about canceling only to be told that there were NO refunds - even though I purchased the trip insurance. "It clearly says it in the 'Terms and Conditions' of the company." BS. Not one place on the site does it say it either. Oh, you can cancel the trip for and addition $100 a ticket - DUE TODAY, and have a $150 credit. Whatever. CROOKS! Not to mention that every person I talked to had a VERY heavy accent. 100% Rip Off!! DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! I'm just going to let my attorney fight it out. I'm done with talking to rude foreigners. Done."

"Worst service ever! Stay away from them! Booked a flight, they did a mistake on my first name, and couldnt change it. Fortunatly I found good people to help me at the airport. (the 2 phone calls with the customer service were horrible).
2 days after before my return flyght they sent me an email to told me my name was not on list for the first flight... never happened to me before. I had a chance to booked another flight at the airport.

"I booked a car thru Insane to rent from Fox. Several days later, I wanted to make the pickup time 12 hours earlier than the original booking. So I called and was put on hold from its menus for over 30 minutes and then connected to a line that disconnected me. I did it 2x more and gave up. This was on a Saturday afternoon.

They say they have chat but no link to one in customer support. I cannot change the booking online either.

When I got through early Sunday morning, I was told the following: 1) any change will cost me $25. If I cancel, it will cost me $40. (I called Fox and they offered the same price rental price without the $15 booking fee. So going to Fox would be cheaper and I could change without penalty.) 2) If I had canceled within 12 hours of booking, no penalty. Nowhere does it say this.
3) They refer me to the confirmation email: It says "any changes made to your reservation or cancellation may result in a processing fee". No mention of what it is.

Avoid them unless you make no changes and do not need customer support.

"I will never use this service again!!!! I booked a flight and car rental together, you would think that when the car rental says "In Terminal" it would be in the terminal of the airport that is your final destination! That was not the case! The car rental was in the terminal of a different airport! When I called Insanely Cheap back, all they could tell me was, what I figured out on my own, that the rental car was at a different location! There was no solution other than to just cancel the car rental, it was a ridiculous circular conversation!"

"Stay AWAY!!!! This is by far the worst costume service you will ever talk to. I called in to ask about a change in flight and they automatically changed my flight without my permission that $600 over the $450 they had charged for the original flight. I only know because I got a automated email with the charges. To make matter worse... And yes it gets worse... You will have to call their "Travel Specialist" who will keep you on hold for hours an then simply disconnect. I hope you learn from my and other's experience and DO NOT SUPPORT THESES RIPOFF!!!"

"so far my first experience with this company has been a customer service nightmare. I have written 2 emails, called and been on hold over an hour total, switched to a different dept and was only able to leave a message. The on hold message states you can reach them 24/7 with one of the ways on line live chat, but on the web site there is no option for live chat. so we are reduced to leaving messages and waiting for them to return my call. My first email was 24 hours ago and I have not received any response yet. I would avoid this company at all costs and will do so in the future."

"I was on call waiting for a rep for over 40 mins.... no answer yet... so sent below email....

I purchased round trip tickets from your site and all flights are in sigle itinerary. Booking # 16107233.

When my in-law's went to Hyd and try to checkin luggage AirIndia associates informed them that they need to collect their luggage in Mumbai and check in again in next flight. I have travelled US more than 10 times (round trip) and never saw such scenario. Are you guyz aware of this or it is a surprise to you too. IF ALL flights are in same itinerary /same booking, WHY THE HELL they cant checkin luggage directly to final destination.

I NEED explanation to this ASAP. Otherwise I am going inform my credit card fraud team about you misleading / fraud ticketing systems and try to get part of the payment back and leave worst comments allover Internet.

If you HAVE COMMON SENSE AND have any sense, RESPOND BACK ASAP.

"We booked travel, and received confirmation numbers. When I tried to check in for the first leg of our journey, the website kept coming back with an error. I called AirTran, who then informed me the ticket had been cancelled (and we were never notified).

Why? Missing date of birth information. Apparently insanely cheap flights never bothered to forward that vital information to the ticket issuing carrier.

Luckily, the AirTran rep was able to fix ICF's enormous mistake and save our ticket.

Definitely the last time we ever use ICF.

Update 5/1: Unable to check in for my return trip as well. Called US Air, was informed I had to call ICF. Called them, got cut off the first two times. The third time, got through, the agent took some of my information, then told me she was going to transfer me to "customer service" (What? Who were you, then?). I stayed on hold for... 42 minutes, 43 seconds before I hung up. 42 minutes. Unbelievable.

Not sure what to do. At this point, I still can't check in, and US Airways can't fix the error.

I sent an e-mail after I wrote the first part of my review, and they responded with a vague e-mail that did not address the issue. They stated that "information was updated" as per their records. Clearly, something is wrong, as the airline informed me that they did not receive the information. US Air informed me that while they have the birthdate information, the agent needed to update the actual record (which they still had not!).

Extremely frustrating.

Update 5/2: I spent quite a bit of time on the phone with ICF yesterday. I called back, held again for about 21 minutes, and amazingly, got connected to someone. We had quite a bit of back and forth... eventually, she seemed to say something that seemed strange to me. When one books a round trip with two different airlines (as I did, Airtran and US Air as done by ICF), then one cannot check in online. Really? That doesn't seem to make sense to me. I was able to check in with Airtran after Airtran CS fixed ICF's error. At any rate, it ended with her telling me I have to check in at the airport. I should've known I was getting suckered, because if it was that easy, she wouldn't have waited 20 minutes of trying to argue with me to tell me that. I asked her if this was in the T&C. She confidently answered yes. I should've asked her where... but at any rate, it seems like a major detail that needs to be clearly stated if it is the case.

I went to the airport. Got a nice gentlemen at the ticketing counter. Turns out our names were incorrect (yet another crazy ICF error - they got it right with Airtran, so what happened with US Air?!). The counter rep then tried to check me in, but encountered the same error I did. The supervisor didn't know either. he called his helpdesk and resolved the problem within just a couple of minutes - turns out, the names on the second leg (US Air) was different from the first leg (Airtran). That is why it was "Out of Sync." He then re did the names and that fixed the issue. He was able to check us in at that point, with about 20 minutes before departure.

I wish I would've gotten his name, because I would've written a commendation letter for him to US Air. Thank you, sir, for your help untangling ICF's mess.

And that ends this saga. I am finally back home. ICF and affiliated sites - never again! And to the CS rep I dealt with, thanks for the misinformation and straight out lies.

"I will definitely use this website again! They by far have the cheapest flights across the board. Also, I like that they show flights for nearby airports along with the airport I keyed in. There are three airports that are within an hour from where I live and this way I can easily see which one has the best deal. I recently went to LA using the tickets I purchased from this site and travled without incident. I don't know why this website is not more well known!"
