I'm being ignored

"I have made four attempts to have my problem solved and they have not responded to any of them. (3 messages on their website and one phone call)
I have an Epson 830 Expression Premium. After watching some of their videos, I felt this was a competent company with reviews that supported that thought. I ordered their $72.00 refill kit. When it arrived I filled the Matte Black cart that came in the kit. When installed I got the usual messages about it not being an Epson cart, but I had read several articles at InkJetCarts support page on how to get around the firmware block. I was able to print. Hurrah!
A little scene setting here. My printer has 5 carts. The usual CYM and two black carts. One (Matte Black) is for normal printing and the other is a special cart for photo printing (Photo Black).
After several days, I checked the ink levels. The Matte Black cart was still full, but the Photo Black one was 30% down. The printer was substituting the Photo Black and ignoring the Matte Black cart. This prompted my first two messages.
Later I had to replace the CYM carts. The printer refused to accept them. I tried all the workarounds available at Customer Support on InkJetCarts web site, and none of them worked. I finally had to buy $73.29 worth of Epson carts.

These guys ROCK!!

"Called up, Ross (who does all the help videos for Artisan) talked me through what I needed even though I could have gone online to look at my history to re-order. He took time to answer all my questions even the silly ones. I know if I call he will talk me through whatever challenges I might have. Inkjetcarts products work great!! I own an EPSON 1430 Artisan...and the ECOTANK works fantastic!! The inks are perfect for my sticker business.

Ross shipped my order out same day and I got it 2 days later! If only every business treated their customers like this!!

"I've been buying from InkjetCarts for a few years now and this is the first time I've felt the need to post a review. I think so many of us think to post reviews for negative experiences that sometimes the positive ones get taken for granted. Firstly, I don't have very high quality needs as far as printing is concerned, meaning I don't need to print poster sized high-quality images on professional glossy stock, etc. I have occasional covers for custom CDs that I make and some glossy photo prints. Having tried some cheaper alternatives from eBay for awhile, I concluded that the quality just wasn't worth it and even if it was decent, the cartridges just didn't last very long. I happened on this site and have been very happily buying from them for a while now. My latest order had one cartridge that leaked a bit, so I took a pic and sent them an email last night. This morning, I woke up to an email stating that a replacement cartridge had been sent out. I was very pleased with their level of support and their promptness. I emailed them back, thanking them for the prompt response and that I'd continue to buy from them and spread the word to others. Their USPS Priority mail is very reasonable (a little over 6 dollars for a full set) and arrived extremely quick to my location in Colorado.

By the way, if you happen to Google "inkjetcarts review," you'll find a forum where one customer said he'd never buy from them again and detailed his story. However, if you actually read his account and the replies, most of the people below seem to be in consensus that both parties could've handled it better and one actually said that he wouldn't have gone to the lengths that the Inkjetcarts did to get it resolved.

"I use refill inks for my HP Photosmart B9180, purchased from inkjetcarts. I am very satisfied with the product but that is nothing compared to the service. There are several kinds of chips available. I got the wrong ones at first and had difficulty getting them to work. I asked for technical help from Inkjetcarts. Ross provided prompt and expert help in getting me the right chips and advising on other problems I was having. This is the best technical support I have experienced from any internet vender, both in the promptness and the technical skill, as well as the patience shown. I would buy from them gladly even if the prices were higher than their competition, which they are not. "

"I had ordered refillable cartridges from InkJetCarts for my Canon Pro-100 printer, and they worked perfectly, no fuss, no mess. Subsequently, I ordered a set of refillable cartridges for my new Epson WF-3640. Thinking I knew how to refill cartridges, I failed to watch their excellent video on how to do it. I simply filled the carts with ink and stuck them in the printer. No go. I finally watched the video, and was able to get the cartridge properly filled AND bled the ink path. By now the print head was dry from attempting to print successfully. Ross Hardie was extremely patient and helpful, without chastising me for not following the instructions in the first place. After telling me that I needed to clean the print heads after running them dry, things finally worked perfectly. Great customer service."

"This is my second order of Epson R220-compatible inks from this company. They've always been responsive to my questions and concerns. First order was refillable cartridges AND ink. A problem with one of the cartridges was remedied quickly. My only suggestions for improvement would be that they add a second bottle of black ink to the refill kits; and that replacement syringes include blunt-tip refill needles rather than standard needles. I'm concerned because I'm unsure if my cartridges have some sort of internal bladder that the standard needle could damage. Overall, a great company to deal with- didn't look anywhere else when my first inks were running out. They offer USPS delivery- which is less expensive than UP$ if you prefer that route."
