"I was looking for a Nikon D70s and this store had them for only $479.00 so I bought it. Then next day they call me and tell me it doesn't come with a battery, charger, or anything like it does at all other stores. They also told me that the body was made of plastic parts and wanted me to buy the upgraded body for $899.00 which is the price at other stores that include a warrenty, battery, charger and all of the other stuff. Then they wanted me to buy a battery for $299.00 and a warrenty for $300.00. I canceled the order after they had charged my card and still haven't got my money back. DON'T SHOP HERE!!!!!! They are scam artist."

"Infiniti Photo is the run of the mill "bait and switch" camera store NY City unfortunately is known for. They list the lowest price of the Canon Digital Rebel XT. However, this camera becomes "unavailable" if you choose not to purchase "accessories" such as the battery and battery charger that Canon packages with each and every camera that they sell. Oh . . . you want a warranty with that camera? That will cost extra. We're not talking "extended warranty" here, mind you. It's quite comical, their setup. I figured I'd give them a shot. Unfortunately they proved my earlier concerns. It is places like Infiniti Photo that give Internet shopping a black eye. I cancelled my order, and will be making another purchase from a reputable dealer. After placing the order, I plan on sending a letter to the NY Attorney General."

"I ordered my Canon Digital Rebel XT last night and I got an email from Bruce @ infinitiphoto.com this afternoon asking me to call him. Apparently, the camera is on backorder and he wanted to know if that was ok. Um, of course it is goober.

Anyhow, the camera was listed at $559.55 which is really good right!? WRONG! The guy asked me if I had a memory card and I said I will by time I get the camera and then he asked me "DO YOU HAVE A BATTERY & A BATTERY CHARGER?!" As you can imagine, I was speachless. I said "YOU MEAN IT DOESN'T COME WITH A BATTERY?!" well long story short, the guy said that I could purchase a battery and a charger for $299.00! AHHHHHHHHH, I am so mad. Do not order from them. Thier website said nothing about "NO BATTERY" and it didn't say anything about the camera being on BackOrder either!!!!!

"Man, I wish I had found this sound before I made an order to this store (or garage, or basement). I actually tried to order a Panasonic LCD 32 inch TV. They had the TV at an unbelievable price and that should have tipped me off. Costco had the same TV for 2000 and I thought that was good for that kind of TV. They had if for $1589 and it looked like a very reputable site. Man, was I wrong. I actually called a guy named "Steve" and he said the TV was new and in stock but would I like to buy a warranty for it. I said, "I thought it came with a 1 year warranty already" and he said, not these particular models. Right there I should have hung up but now I learned. I then did a search on the web about this company and found this site and saw all the negative comments about them and immediately I called my bank to cancel the Visa check card I gave them. The bank luckiely cancelled the card immediately and according to them they didn't try to do any charges against the account (phew!) but I closed that card and blocked it so they can't do it anyway. Man, I learned a big lesson there. Like a lot of you have said, "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is". In this case that IS true. Man, I should have just paid the $150 more to get it from a reputable place like Costco or even Circuit City. At least THEY would have a warranty with the TV! Stay away from this company any company like it like the plague! I learned a big lesson from this. Make sure to search for the company name before you order anything from them. I feel somewhat foolish for falling for these guys since I'm very careful about retailers like that. Man, how can we put these crooks behind bars? I read on some of these posts the name of the guy who masterminds these schemes. That guys should be thrown in jail and throw away the key! Buyers do your homework first!! "

"Almost Scammed: The salesman tried to scam me when he completed my creditcard order over the phone, he quickly said "ok the total charge is $800 something" and he switched lines to shipping. I was shocked. The original quoted online and phone price was $325 plus shipping for a canon elura 90. The shipping guy said the total price was $354.99, yet the sales guy quickly said $800 something and switched me to shipping. When the shipping guy answered he said they were out of stock on that camera and it would be 4 - 6 weeks. That's good that is was out of stock, so I then told this guy I wanted to cancel my order. He said OK, the card will not be charged. I asked for a cancelation number, he said to add a "C" to the original confirmation number. What a scam. I called my credit card company to worn them of this just in case they tried to charge the card. I am double checking with the credit card company just in case to block this sale."

I checked out their website and called them directly to ask questions and finalize my order with a saleman named Dave. Puchased a Canon Elph S410 for $225 + CF card + extended 5 yr warranty + overnight shipping of $50. I opened the delivery box after UPS delivered it, then opened the Canon box, and NO CAMERA was in it!! Just an emtpy plastic bag. I emailed and left messages for the company, and looked online only to find all these HORRIBLE reviews from other customers about this retailer!! I immediately called AMEX to cancel (for some reason they can't cancel a charge, only puruse a fraud case after the charge goes through). "

"Their advertisment is totally misleading thinking that you'll get everything as provided by the manufacturer. I wanted to order a Canon Powershot G6 which is $100 cheaper. It turned out that the price is an international version of the camera and that nothing else is included by the body. I'm assuming this is an excuse since I asked how much teh US version cost and it's higher then most online merchants. I cancelled the order immediately and the sales rep said okay and hungup. I suggest to call up the place before placing the order online as the order I tried to place online was misleading. There's no indication anywhere on the site that their products does not come with any accessories. The salesman even make stupid comments that they supply to dell when i said Dell had the Canon Powershot G6 for a cheaper price. Let's face it, why would Dell goto a small saller like themselves? It's obvious that this company is hiding something under their sleeve. I wouldn't suggest going to this site."

If you have placed an order, immediately call your credit card company and cancel/block the order. Cancel your order with these thieves. If they tell you that you owe them a restocking fee and have to respond to their E-mails, DON'T DO IT! Do not let them have a penny. Tell these convicts that they belong in jail and give them nothing and hang up.
Hopefully you are doing your homework first and not seeing this after the fact."

"Spare yourself the grief--this is a dishonest, disreputable company that baits and switches, lies about their products and can be completely unpleasant to deal with--and they will get your money-one way or another. Don't be lured by these low prices, there is no way you can walk away with just that item-they make sure, or they hit you up for a restocking fee once you realize that they have duped you. There is no email invoice, which gives you clue enough. Personally, I have written to the New York Attorney General about them. They really need to be put out of business.

Post mortem: I ended up being charged $130 as a restocking fee. When i called them, I was told it was the shipping, which apparently cost a whopping $50..when I reminded the salesperson that the amount was included in the final amount and that their contract made no distinction about shipping, he finally, relented and returned some of the money. I never asked for a refund. I had asked for an exchange and I was told that it wasn't in stock for six weeks (the usual excuse). I am happy to say I have learned my lesson. I will never deal with these rip off artists again. I can only hope peeople actually take this comments seriously anbd be forwarned..I wish I had."
