"I ordered a sub last summer, and it blew for some reason that was not my fault. They took it back and after finding no evidence of abuse, refunded my money. Around Christmas 2004, i ordered 2 sets of speakers, they arrived quickly and sound great. Last week, I ordered a box for my subs and they mailed me the wrong one. I sent an email, hinting that i was very angry. Withing 10 mins of sending the email, they called me and said that not only were they sending a new box, but they were going to let me keep the wrong one because it would cost them more to pay me to ship it back. The new box should ship in a few days......Thanks Ike"

"Since my original review, I have installed the product. The product came in a sealed (unopened) box and contained all paperwork and hardware as required. The product purchased worked very well, met the expectations of the vendor's website description, and did exactly what it was supposed to do."

"I ordered a stereo, speakers, and an amplifier installation kit from these people on 10/30/2004. I waited and waited, no tracking info, no package. On thier website it SPECIFICALLY states that "if credit card transaction, your card will NOT be charged until your order is shipped." My card was charged successfully for nearly $500 on 11/4. i contacted them via phone 11/8, and the woman who answered the phone was extremely sassy and rude. She informed me that they no longer carried the stereo i requested. i asked her to check on a replacement, and described it in great detail, but she refused to look for it on the computer because i didn't have the model number. I was put on hold for a total of 35 minutes throughout the 45 minute call, and got no resolve. i requested a call from the owner who was equally rude and uncooperative, she finally agreed to issue a refund which i still haven't received. this company is as shady as they come, just remember, if it's too good to be true, it probably is. never purchase anything from ikes electronics, or ikesound.com, go to sound domain!!! they price match my order shipped 12 hours later for $14 (ikesound charged me over $50!!!)"

"Biggest scam ever. I purchased a 5 farad capacitor because my subs weren't working and I thought the 1 farad wasn't cutting it. Turned out I had a blown fuse which disabled the subs. When I tried numerous times to contact them to receive a "Return Authorization Number", time and time again I got the response "Please include all emails between us so I know what you're talking about." When I finally got to tell them that I was returning the product because I didn't need it, they once again gave me the run-around. My product was never used, tested, or even opened for that matter and I contacted them well before the 30-day return period. In the return policy they state that items must be installed by professionals, when I told them that it was installed by Best Buy, they had the audacity to give me the horeshit that Best Buy isn't a professional installer?!?! Then what classifies as professionals?!?! They also said that refunds aren't issued on non-defective items. But if you look closely, there policy also states that refunds aren't issued on defective products either, only repaired or replaced, basically they don't refund anything for any reason. The topper was when they told me that a capacitor "doesn't effect power supply of any system it was not going to solve any problems." WHAT?!?! Of course a cap effects power supply, it keeps your system from draining your battery and ruining your alternator. That's why when you put a cap in, your lights don't dim!!! Do yourself a favor and NEVER EVER do business with this fraudelent company and there dishonest return policy. This was a lesson learned the hard way. P.S. if anyone need a 5 farad cap, let me know, to this day I still have it!"

"I placed an order through them on ebay with a "butitnow" auction for a Panasonic Car CD player. The auction stated that the item was in stock and ready to ship. This order was placed on a tuesday, because i needed the item by early the next week. The next day, their tracking page showed that the item was backordered. I promptly called and was told that the item might be in by friday. Not only that, they state they will not charge your card until item has shipped, but my card was charged almost immediately after the item was purchased. 3 different calls, and i was spoke with the same woman everytime, who wasn't exactly rude, but by no means friendly.

The company is unprofessional and dishonest. I would never do business with them again.

"ikesound screwed me.

i bought a sony cdxm730 from them and it broke the day after it was installed. i mailed it to them under the pretense that they would repair or replace it, and haven't heard from them for five months. every time i write to inquire about the stereo, they send back a one sentence reply saying it's out of their hands. they don't offer to follow up with sony or help me in any way at all. that is, providing they actually sent the stereo to sony for repair and are not sitting on it or have sold it to someone else.

"though I wasn't provided with a tracking number for my purchase, the item was shipped and received quickly (under a week from my order to said product's arrival). I ordered a bandpass box for my subwoofers for $30, so I'm not complaining at all. All in all a good company that I'd deal with again."

"Ive ordered from them twice so far........once a head unit, and once a pair of coaxial speakers.

Both arrived very quickly, and in perfect condition. I had called ahead to make sure the head unit was in stock, because the price was so low. The speakers they sent me were actually an upgraded model from what i ordered, probably because they ran out.

"Extremely slow shipping, unresponsive customer service - nobody answers their emails, and if you call them, their answering machine is almost always full.

Bought a set of car speakers, when it finally arrived, the box was all beat up and clearly has been opened before. In addition, I only received one speaker adapter. When I emailed their customer service, they told me it only comes with only ONE adapter!!!?? That's like saying you only get one shoelace when you buy a pair of shoes. Worst bullcrap I've heard in my life. Their prices might seem very attractive - but trust me, STAY AWAY FROM THEM! Better spend a little bit more and go elsewhere.
