"This was one of my most stressful experience with buying a ticket for my business trip to Asia. The quoted price was low, I was promised at first a direct flight to Hong Kong on business class, after a day, it became a flight with one stopover but promised return flight on first class, I went to the airline site after I was not able to get seat confirmation and found out I was waitlisted. I called several times but was promised verbally and in writing that it was only airline formality, and promised there will be no problem.
3 days before travel, I was told it has to be changed to a different airline which was unheard of, or I had to pay over 850 to get a direct flight first class on a different airlines. When I contacted my client about the fAre increase, my client canceled my engagement.
I did get a refund, for thatI am giving it one star, and my agent didn’t evade my calls or email. But I’m never doing this again, it cost me a job and anxiety I don’t need."
