Didn't receive what I ordered

"I ordered a special combo set of 3 honer harmonicas in the key of c,g,a. However I received a single harmonica in the key of Ab. I asked them to send me the correct items and they said they sold them out of stock it was no longer available. So I asked them to send me the individual harmonicas of c,g,a which is what I ordered and I asked them to honor the price being it was their fault. They matter of factly said all they would do for me is to refund the harmonica that I didn't want."

Poor or NO Customer Service

"Ordered 4 items online 1/9/16 , on 1/18 received package with 3 items and unclear packing slip that indicated 2 packages with the unshipped item circled. web site says;

I called customer service, spoke with a Rep who said he thought he knew what was going on and would transfer me to warehouse but they might not be there-then I was hung up on. I followed up by email 1/19 and again the night of 1/21/15. No Response. Called them Friday (1/22) evening and was advised only the order taking Dept was open and Customer Service were gone for the weekend and I could call Monday. Advised the rep I would be posting review here and on my music blog. Wondering if this is just a vague and illusive dept or an actual unicorn. Either way, I recommend you steer clear of this outfit given the wealth of online music options like Sweetwater, Musician Friend, etc. These people will soon bury themselves.

UPDATE:
My Order shipped and I was contacted by customer service manager who acknowledged the shortcoming in their order tracking system, aplogized for the poor service and did his best to resolve the situation- they hope to have an updated order portal in the near future. I upped review to a 3 from a 1

"Bought a Fender Deluxe Jazz Bass from them as a special order. The web site was a little hard to get around, but the phone support was very helpful. Prices were great, and saving on sales tax was a definite bonus. Would definitely look at them in the future for larger purchases like this."

"I ordered a Yamaha speakerbar at and very reasonable price compared to EVERYONE else selling it. The merchant called me the next day to verify the transaction because of the cost and the bar showed up 2 days later. It was 3 1/2 days from time of purchase until arrival. The bar was in perfect shape (brand new in box)and works incredible. Yamaha YSP-4300 is the bomb ! It was a perfect transaction."

"Took a violin to this store to be repaired. New strings needed and tuning pegs too loose. When got to the store to pick it up, the entire violin was apart. Bridge had fallen off, strings weren't attached, and tail piece was loose. Left it again. Went back again to pick it up and it appeared to be fine. Got it home to play and the strings were not tuned. Tried to tune it myself and the pegs slipped and one of the strings popped off. Violin was not repaired at all. My advise, never go to this establishment. Also, all of the clerks that I encountered there were very unfriendly."

"My first online purchase experience with Cascio Interstate Music was a complete disaster.

I found their website through a web search for the item I needed. The price and a quick glimpse at store reviews made this seem like a good deal. I ordered a bulk lot on their website ("usually ships in 2 days"), and received an automated email telling me to wait for a tracking number. None arrived. I called them 5 days later, waited about 10 minutes for a person to come on the line, only to be told the item was coming from a third party drop shipper and no tracking was currently available, but I should get an email soon.

Waited 3 more days, called again, waited 10 minutes again to speak with a customer service rep. He put me on hold and contacted the drop shipper, only to find out they had mysteriously canceled my order. However they had not bothered to contact me or refund my money! And why didn't the other guy tell me this 3 days earlier so I could order from somewhere else?

The customer service guy was apologetic and said he was not aware of this happening before. However I have since read other reviews that beg to differ. He couldn't refund my money right now, because the supervisor needed to do it and he was at lunch. So I'm still waiting.

I have not seen their store, but judging by my experience they seem like a disorganized hack operation. Drop-shipping may not be the best business decision for this company. I will never order from them again.

"I placed a web order for a very popular Canon HF M40 camcorder(Google listed them having the lowest price and ready to ship). 3 days went by without any status update. I called them up and was told the item was shipped on the day before, and when I asked for the second order of the same camcorder, I was told to use Paypal 'Send money' feature even though my credit card had been pre-authorized for the transaction already. After I found out from Paypal that 'Send money' should not be used by a buyer. Should there be a dispute, there is no way for me to get the money back. I told them about that, and they canceled both my second order and the first order that was shipped as told by a customer service agent, giving me the reason -'Out of stock'. Luckily, I've got my money back for the first order paid via Paypal. Stay away from this company."

"**TERRIBLE SERVICE**

I ordered a tom-tom from these guys in October of 2011. After two months went by, I inquired as to where my order was. I was informed, by a simple, non-caring email, that the tom wasn't even available yet when I ordered it; and that it was due to arrive to their store by Feb of 2012. The website stated that this product was in stock otherwise, I would not have ordered it from them because I needed the tom pretty quickly!

After contacting them a second time (middle of Feb 2012), I received absolutely NO response. So now I am out almost $200 and still do not have the product which I absolutely needed fairly quickly.

This is a terrible company, with very bad service; avoid it at all costs!

"I purchased an item with expedient shipping for 1-day delivery. It took 2 business days to receive my order. Since the product came later than needed and I paid a substantially greater amount, I asked that the 2-day shipping cost be charged rather than the 1-day. They said that they could not help me. I have sent them two e-mails in reply and they never responded.
Cheaply priced products, but bad shipping policy/customer service.

"Worst on-line ordering experience ever. Company was to quote shipping prior to sending items. Received items by UPS. Cascio had valued $40 worth of drumsticks at $160!!. I was charged taxes and a brokerage fee totalling $32.76 on a $40 item.
When I called Cascio they said it must be UPS fault. On contacting UPS I was emailed the form that Cascio filled out with the incorrect information.
I realize that the Canadian market is a small portion of their sales, but it will be zero per cent of their sales if they keep treating customers like this.
4 pair of drumsticks at $9.99 = $72.68 !!!!

"Watch out. Last page with confirmation number is covered by unblockable popup generated actively. You can not see the confirmation number without participating in either the biz-rate free $100 value magazine subscription scam or a free ipod scam. (They cover the confirmation number). Customer service was no help. I managed to obtain confirmation number through stylesheet and html editing. I will never shop at this store again regardless of quality of product or pricing"

"I ordered a djembe head, which turned out to be the wrong size. When I tried to exchange it, I received the following email:


I can’t take it back if it has been opened. But I can give you 5% off and free shipping on the size you did need. Is the Djembe you have a Toca? If so, what model? They should make something that fits it. Let me know.

"I ordered a Manhasset music stand from Cascio via Amazon.com, where they actually offered a slightly lower price on the item.

UPS shipping confirmation arrived quickly, and the $5.00 shipping and handling charge was relatively reasonable. All in all a good experience and I would definitely order from them again.
