The shipping charge was pretty hight but anyone who does mail order on computer parts over the internet already knows that the reseller's profit is often made on the shipping. So I don't sweat it, I just look at the cost of the parts + shipping as a whole and look for the best deal. "After seeing the comments from this website and after ordering I became a bit scared. The package shipped when it was supposed to ship, it arrived viz UPS when it was supposed to arrive, and was able to be tracked the entire way. When the box arrived, the 5 USB zip drives that I had ordered were still in the box from Iomega, and the serial numbers matched those listed on the box. The boxes were unopened retail boxes. I still have concern over the number of "poor" ratings for HOCT, but they came through in a pinch, and I saved about $300 over anyone else. This S&H charge was a bit high, but with their prices being so much lower than anyone else, it was worth it.
The only problem that I really had with this company is the customer service, or lack there of. I called to verify that the product was actually in stock (as other comments were that only partial orders had been shipped) and a very gruff 'yes' was given, without truely knowing if the person was looking or not. After a few more questions, I decided not to push too hard, and order online. I would not recommend talking to someone, and if there is a problem, then it's going to be your fault, not theirs."
