Scam robbers

"Long story short. Booked 3/13/2019. Checked on our reservation many times. Day of 7th of May checked again. All ok. Checked in May 11, 2019 at the wyndym vacation resorts in Waikiki, Hawaii. We were told reservation cancelled on May 8th, 2019. Out almost $800.00 by hotels for everyone. Called their number and recording came up that they closed their doors. Had to book a flea bag hotel, we were stuck I. Hawaii until May 17th. We didn't have the money for anything else. We will seek legal advice. Will probably never get our money back. "

Where is my money??

"I got an email stating that Hotels For Everyone was going out of business and my hotel may not have been booked. I made the reservation in Nov 2018. They made me prepay. They never actually placed the reservation and just like another poster, said if I wanted my money back I'd have to contact my cc company. Umm no? That's stealing. "

I would give zero starts if I could.

"We booked a short getaway weekend to celebrate my Birthday in Galveston. My first time ever using a third party to pay for my hotel. And everything went downhill immediately after trying to check in. Upon arrival we where told we had to pay out of pocket because the credit card provided by Hotels for Everyone was declined. The hotel was understanding they where booked for the day so we had to pay $175 for the night in order to keep our room, because no one could get ahold of HFE. At around 10 PM someone calls me telling me there was an issue because they where getting a new system and they would call the hotel not to charge my card because the payment would be in by the morning. They did call the hotel but told them differently, they told the receptionist that they where unable to make the payment because of a system reboot and they wouldn't have the system up in time. (Who the does that knowing that they have contracts with people knowing damn well people are expecting there accommodations to be taken care off because they payed in advanced. Yet they take their money and dont hold up their end up of the deal and lie to them saying they will take care of it.) So the next day we go about our day, thinking everything is taken care of because I was promised it would be only to find out that it wasn't. Our hotel calls me to inform me that we now have to pay an extra 300$ plus on top of the 175$ if we want to stay a second night. Given the fact that it was late and we had our 3 year old so we had no choice. Because of the miss communication my card was charged 3 freaking times NOT INCLUDEing my original payment to HFE. That left us with literally almost no money to even enjoy our get away. Almost 800$ if not more up in the air because we cant get immediate refunds. (Not the hotels fault). It was such a terrible experience That we ended up cutting it our trip short, canceling our reservations at another hotel in a different San Antonio because of this. It's been 5 days and I finally get a call about how they will refund me only for the one night stay of 175$ yet I still had payed HFE for 2 nights that was 200 plus and the 300$ for the second might. I will never go through this Company again after reading the reviews on BBB, apparently its something they do on the regular.its ridiculous how one cant even get a hold of an agent with out getting an operator relooping your calls only to end up getting disconnected everytime. HFE **** you! I better get all this money back! I normally wouldn't care if someone contacted me immediately and not lie about the situation but the fact that no one has contacted me until 5 days later and tell me they will only pay the 175 just made me mad "

Horrible

"Went to check in and my itinerary number was wrong even though I printed it from my email confirmation. Tried to call customer service and was sent through a looped message. Every time I tried to press a number it would hang up on me. I ended up having to pay for my room a second time! Good thing the hotel was helpful."

Hotels for Everyone NOT credible

"We booked a room for March 1, 2019 through Hotels for Everyone for the Sleep In in Miami Florida. The room was booked the end of January, charges of $131.74 appeared on my credit card February 1, 2019. Upon our arrival March 1st we were informed Hotels for Everyone cancelled our room 3 days prior. We ended up paying an additional $200 for a room. What an awful way to start a vacation. I have contacted Hotels for Everyone multiple times by phone and e-mail, waiting unnecessary time periods trying to get our money back. "

Bad customer service

"When you call to ask questions before booking they are misleading you. When you call before arriving you are not getting what you asked for it. Called the numbers on my itinerary they keep on redirecting to other numbers. What a scam! Hotelsforeveryone is just the hook the get you in and them blamed Orbitz for it. I was told breakfast was included now I have find a place to eat and interrupting my field trip. Of course they dont hold anybody responsible. Wyndham Corp. should get rid off this company."

Scam

"I booked through your website and when i got to the hotel they asked for my credit card. 5 days later i was charged by the hotel because their manager said your virtual credit card was declined. Yet you kept my money, which was more than the hotel actually charged me. And now over a month later i am still trying to get my money back from you only to get transferred 5 or 6 times just to end up having to leaving a voicemail. Your buisness is fraudulent and i will be reporting you to the better business bureau. Stealing from the average Joe and lining your pockets. Pathetic. "

Tried to save a couple $ on busy holiday weekend, but learnt my lesson and never again

"Tried to save some money and they had more availability than other well known sites, but it ended up costs me $200 more. Too long of a story but got double booked and type of room not as advertised. "

Was scared that this was a scam, but all went well, except lost the confirmation email originally

"I booked through Hotels for Everyone for the Crowne Plaza in Cleveland for a Cavs game for Feb. 2018. I actually realized around Christmas that I had lost the confirmation email for the trip, but found the charge on my credit card for the company. I called the Service ***-***-**** number on a Saturday afternoon and got an outgoing message that their office was closed and to leave a vm if my reservation was not within like 24 hours. I then called the Sales ***-***-**** number, but the person who picked up was unable to find my reservation. She also told me that she was not Hotels for Everyone and gave me the number that I had called for service. I called back and left a message this time and within the hour, I got a call back and a message from a nice girl who gave me my booking information and re-sent my booking email. Just got back from the trip and everything went fine. I was really worried that the hotel would not have my reservation, but they had it. I am only giving 4 stars because I was totally freaked out when I lost the confirmation email and the person who answered the phone could not find my reservation (and told me that she was not Hotels for Everyone, even thought that is the number that I called for sales from their website) and that I had to leave a vm on a weekend (although clearly most of that was my fault, but I think that as a company, you still need to anticipate that), but I want others to know that mine, at least worked out fine and I got what I reserved and paid what they advertised."

Classic "Bait and Switch Scam"

"My experience with "Hotels for Everyone" was not pleasant. I found it to be the classic "Bait and Switch Scam". Was suppose to get a one bed room at the Hyatt Regency in Houston, TX, but upon arrival was given a two MUCH SMALLER beds room. Was told I could pay an additional amount to receive what I was promised and paid for originally. DO NOT USE!!! BEWARE!!"
