"The Kenwood KIV-bt901 is a brilliant idea. A single din unit with a video screen for a backup camera. Great for classic cars and older trucks like my 02 Dodge Dually where you have to strain your neck to see over the bed when backing up. It is years ahead of its time, with no obsolete CD/DVD player. Only USB,iPod, and aux. inputs, with 512MB memory. Only wish they would make a newer version, with a USB plug, and iPhone 5 plug in the front. Limited incompatibility with my iPhone5 is no big deal for me. I find it easier to drag media onto USB drives and store them in my truck, than plugging and unplugging my iPhone every time I get in the truck. Found the harness and faceplate from Metra on Amazon, and everything pretty much plugged right in.
The Metra face plate was cool with a space for an iphone under it, but a little flimsy since the Ram only used two screw holes. I reinforced it and made a pad for the radio to sit on for strength. HookedOnTronics had the lowest price I found anywhere, quick, free shipping, and no CA sales tax. Love it. "
