"I have looked at the review of this merchant and I trying to give this new website some faith but it is very disappointing. I had placed an order (Asus Network RT-N66U) that was not available (where HookBag.com is not cheapest merchant and at least they have some kind of rating), they cancelled my order on the following date. But as of today, they still have not release my payment authorization with PayPal. I am even more disappointed with HookBag.com on handling potential future customer's money. I will definitely not returning to this site and beware of them hold your money while cancelled your order in the future."

I've ordered from them three times now. They almost always have the lowest available price, shipping is free on most orders, and their shipping team deserves praise. All of my orders arrived either 1 or 2 days after placing my order, and were perfectly packaged.
The one time I had to contact customer service, they replied instantly and were incredibly helpful. No crappy pre-scripted answers.

"I did some research and was a little concerned about the reviews from hookbag.com but thought I would TOFT and place a small order for an APC USB/Powerstrip which was about 40% cheaper than lowes and not sales tax/shipping. I was ready to write off a no show BUT the product not only arrived QUICKLY but was packaged nicely and was brand new original packaging! They also provide tracking of shipment. The product was likely drop shipped from MFG and hookbag customer service answer my status question immediately and with full tracking. I do recommend them and hope others will have same experience."
"I had never heard of these guys, but apparently they've been operating a Canadian website for a while. I did a google shopping search for a particular brand name computer part and HookBag.com had the best price. They accepted paypal, so I decided to take a chance on a $30 purchase. Initially, I became even more than a little leery, because two days after ordering my item it seemed to be still stuck in "processing" limbo. You can open "ticket" on their website to inquire about things, so that's what I did to find out what was going on. They responded via email within 24hrs and informed me my package was delivering that day. I indeed received my item that day in great shape and it only took 3 days. They're apparently a legitimate company, but their website is not a reliable source for your order status unless you submit a "ticket". They need to work on that aspect of their business to be successful, in my opinion. That said, I wouldn't have a problem ordering from them again if I find they have the best price on something I'm looking for."
