"I ordered my lights on January 3 and still have not received them. I had to log into my account to find the status and all it read was "exception." It's not good customer service that no one contacted me to inform me of this, especially since I paid over $11 for 1-5 day shipping. I felt that I should have received notification about the status of my order. Unacceptable!!!"

"Our holiday lights arrived last week and my wife is comparing the colors and styles that we purchased. I am happy with all but the much shortened warranty on the products. I am still questioning why items on sale only receive a 30 day warranty, yet if you pay full price there is a 3 year warranty given on those items. Other than that, the order and shipping went smoothly. I just hope the product is of good quality, otherwise 30 days goes by really quick."

A phone number was provided on the email, which we called, and we talked to a very pleasant customer service agent. We told her we would reorder regualar LED lights instead of the "twinkling" lights and she immediately took care of changing and shipping the new order for us. "Holiday LEDs was awesome. We messed up on our initial order and needed to order one more. So a few hours after the first order we ordered the last box of Halloween Ice lights we needed. They took the time to put the order in the first orders box and removed shipping charges. And the lights are AWESOME! We really like them. HOWEVER, I really think Holiday LEDs should offer a more affordable line of LED lighting like Walmart does say 50 Lights for $8.00 Those of us that have computer controlled light shows can not afford to pay $20 to $30 on a set of 50 lights with fancy reflectors. Consider offering just standard LED lights as an option as well. Christmas lights are already expensive. But 30-40.00 for a string of 50 Christmas lights is just not affordable not just for myself but for many families. Thanks."

"I ordered 12 strings of new Christmas lights and I also tried to coordinate this new order with 3 replacement strings needed for defective strings ordered previously. I was very pleased that HolidayLEDs was able to coordinate both of these orders (new and replacement strings) together. Also the customer service rep I was working with on the replacement strings pointed me to a better coupon to use with my new order; which was much appreciated. However, on the negative side, I did not receive the exact product I ordered on the 2 new red strings (the string length was shorter). Also the blue replacement string I requested was no longer in stock and a different blue light string was sent but I was not asked about it upfront. I had to e-mail and ask why I had received a 70 light string instead of the 50 light string I had requested. Now to the better news - HolidayLEDs has always had strong customer service and they created a coupon for future use for the mix-up in my order to try and make things right. In general, 2011 is the second Christmas season I have ordered lights from HolidayLEDs. I discovered HolidayLEDs as I have been replacing my incandescent light strings with LED lights and was looking for a source of high quality LED lights. Again on the negative side, I have been surprised at the rate of failure of the strings I have received given the purported superior durability of LED lights to incandescent lights (although the issues have been from a line of lights no longer being carried by HolidayLEDs). That said, I have a couple of strong positive comments: 1) For the "good" light strings, I love the look of the lights (5mm wide angle). The colored lights produce a brilliant light and the warm white lights look identical to the classic clear incandescent lights. 2) When I have had quality issues, HolidayLEDs has been very quick to send replacement lights and they stand by their products. Their customer service has been outstanding. Overall, my appreciation for their great customer service and the brilliance of the lights they offer outweigh the durability issues I've experienced. I definitely plan on ordering more lights from HolidayLEDs in the future. "
