"It has been a solid 14 days since my placement order. My item has not yet made it through customs; I'm unsure if it is still in Hong Kong, or simply lost. I purchased registered tracking in order to keep an eye on its arrival date, but so far nothing has come up past "processed through sort facility".

When I contacted customer support, their dates for my purchase and shipment were incorrect according to my bank statement and emails sent specifically from holgacamera.net (even if it were in "Hong Kong" time - they are not 2-3 days behind American time, which is the amount of time they were off by). And to wrap it up, my shipment was not placed the next business day after purchase as is listed in their website policy.

I am kicking myself for not ordering the same item from Amazon for $5 more (also with free shipping). The accessories I had ordered from a store on Amazon who is also located in Hong Kong arrived 10 business days ago. Customer support for holgacamera.net suggested that my shipment will arrive next week - a whole 18-24 days from order placement.

Unless you want to wait a month for your shipment to arrive with little to no help from customer support, I suggest you shop elsewhere.

Or maybe I just had a bad go - however out of the numerous online purchases I have made (a huge amount from overseas vendors), I've never encountered something quite as foul as this."
