Received my first order and am in great anticipation in constructing them. Haven’t yet experienced the customer support (which will be huge in my loyalty) so I can’t comment on this which is why I only gave a 4-star rating. The other things that I really appreciate is the wide selection of 1/35 scale and opportunity to earn reward points equating to dollars. "First, the website is terrible. Searching for anything specific is a painstaking experience if you don't know the exact stock number (and who does?). The filters are inadequate and the sort by does not work. OkaY, now you have somehow found some items to purchase. Great, you go through the usual process of providing your contact info and your credit card info and submit your order.
Second, once one has placed the order you find that it will not ship for at least a week.
Third, it finally ships, or at least a status update states that it did. Well, don't expect it to arrive for at least another week.
When it arrives you find the items you ordered, but, you discover that the description of some items were inadequate and you are stuck with, in my case a Kato bridge that is made for some "unitrack" system. I went back to confirm that the description omitted this important bit of information. Looking at another review, I see that Hobbylinc will likely not help to remedy the situation. Rather than waste my time I will see if anyone I know has use for it. I don't have time to deal with non-responsive companies and will not be ordering anything else with this company.
I give the website zero stars, the selection 3 stars and because they at least sent the items I ordered, I reluctantly feel I must up the rating to two stars. Save yourself a lot of time and order directly from Walthers before you order from Hobbylinc. It's worth paying the list price sometimes. Of course there are numerous other vendors with discount prices (e.g. trainworld.com, modeltrainstuff.com, etc.)."

"I've made more than 25 purchases from Hobbylinc.com since 2006, and I've never had a problem with them or their services. I see a lot of complaints that it takes a few days for them to send out orders. Amazon.com sits on your order for a week or more sometimes if you aren't a prime member.... They go out of their way to irritate me... but Hobbylinc usually gets my stuff out the same week and if they don't it isn't a big deal to me, they have the best prices anywhere. Shipping is faster usually than Amazon too. If I could make one complaint, it is that their website is outdated. Other than that, I can't really gripe about anything. I build models (kits and scratchbuilt collector's pieces) for a living, I've spent a lot of money on their website. It is usually my go-to place for my hobby/model needs. "
