Hobbyzone sent me a defective plane, I called, nasty old guy obviously super defensive, sounded like I was bothering him. I just gave up, this aint Horizon! and they expect you to troubleshoot and repair your own new plane. They obviously don't care, if they sponsor more youtubers there is a new sucker born every minute on the internet, so they are good there! They know whom to cater to. Im so frustrated, why cant there be quality control? They have no problem raising their prices! Like I said Im chucking this thing, it looks like crap from me taking it apart the stickers area all FFFED up, and still broken as it came, Perhaps esc or motor. I expected A NEW PLANE, in working condition. Not what I got. "
"They took order for a transmeter. Charged $ 1300 on credit card. Also charged $ 95. for FedEx 2 day shipping. When item did not arrive in 2 days, contacted them and they said that order will be shipped in 2 months. Disgusting experience. Owner Dan was not helpful. "
"Non-functioning motor in top of the line HawkSky. They said they would replace the entire kit. That did not happen nor was it necessary as I only needed a functioning motor. Then I sent them my dead motor for them to verify its deadness...which they did. And then nothing and still nothing. Not even my dead motor returned. I did buy a motor from a competitor so I could get my airplane in the air. Of course that makes my airplane cost another $21 making it no deal along with the hastle. I am saddened to have to write a bit of a negative review which I would prefer not to due. However prospective buyers should be aware."
"I ordered a Arrma Nero off there site on 5-4-17 priced at 599.99 had 10% off total price came to 539.99.
It arrived on 5-6-17 (very quick shipping). The next day 5-7-17 my son came over to race cars and liked it so much he wanted one so I showed him the Hobby Zone site and low and behold the price had dropped to 449.99. I was in shock that it was $90 less then I paid. I immediatly sent Hobby Zone an email requesting the difference in price. I was told NO the policy does not allow it! This is a difference of 3 days from order date to price reduction and they cant refund my money. For all I know the price reduction happened the day after I bought it? They did say I could return the unopened package at a cost to me then re-order under the new price, but I had already had opened and drove the car. I do not buy rc cars to leave sit in the box for 30 days unopened in case there is a price drop. Most people buy an rc car to use and abuse! Seriously they could have offered me something $45 or how about sending me some type of a store credit. If you go to home depot or say sears and buy something and they drop the price 3 days later I have never had a problem getting the difference refunded. Needless to say I will not shop Hobby Zone again! "

"After receiving my glider I removed the glider box from the shipping box and throw away the shipping box. Couple weeks later I open the glider box and found that the two batteries and the receiver I also ordered where not in the box. I called Hobby Zone and explained that those items were not in the box. I was advised that the small items were probably wrapped in kraft paper that was in the shipping box. I was dismayed that I had seen the kraft paper and it appeared to be used to take up space in the shipping box not contain other items. The shipping box had been disposed of in a 4 yard dumpster. I voiced my dismay that small items would be wrapped in paper and no notice was give on the box that this is the case. While the person on the other end was sympathetic it was made clear that I had made the mistake. Understand that I had not even asked for replacement items but it was apparent that I was on my own. When I had suggested that they put a label on the box indicating loose items in the box he responded with "I made that suggestion and it was denied". So I am guessing that this may have not been the first time this happened. I am disappointed with my first dealings with Hobby Zone and was told if I am unhappy with them it was my choice to do business elsewhere. The good news is after dumpster diving I came up with the box and found the items haphazardly wrap in shipping paper. "
