Customer Service - Website - Shipping

"Have been purchasing from them for over ten years. Their website was not secure, I complained and they did eventfully take care of it. Come on an online retailer without a secure website, unbelievable.... Nearly every order I placed on this unsecure website was followed by a hit on my credit card.. Being in business this long you would think they could do things much better but it seems to be getting worse. Customer service was really bad for quite sometime, it has changed but it still not perfect. Names have changed perhaps moved to different positions doesn't really matter. When you're not happy with customer service you're not happy with the company it is bad leadership or no real business skills. I was put on some program where my prices were lower but my shipping was higher. Now prices are higher and so isn't the shipping. We ended up reducing our business with them because of their inconsistent business practices but they never changed our pricing. Shipping fees are through the roof. I can ship a complete set of clubs to California for less than $25.00 and package is there within 3 days. Some weight package shipped by them is sometimes $40.00 dollars and takes close to five days. Now who are they kidding, they are charging us a high rate and they are paying for a lower rate. We placed an order Sunday night, they received Monday it was not as heavy as a full set of clubs but guess when we received the package?? Tuesday the next week, come on, my opinion is that is just bad, bad business practices. We will be eliminating them from our business. Prices have gone up beyond a point that we can not maintain a good profit margin from them. They have moved a lot of their products to the Powerbilt line. The end will be near for them unfortunately. Best advise, take care of your customers and they will take care of you. If you post a review on their website and it is negative you will not see it posted. Hope you can continue through these tough times in the golf business. Wish you the best of luck, unfortunately it takes more than luck to create a GREAT customer base. Your business revolves around the weekend golfer who only purchases maybe once. You missed the boat and have are going to miss a lot of customers... "

CUstomer service: Distrustful and Unresponsive

"I placed a large order for heads and shafts; one graphite shaft arrived cracked because it was jammed against the carton wall which got dented. That day I sent photos of the shaft and carton and followed up with emails one and two weeks later but never heard from Hireko. I phoned and got put on forever-hold -- nobody picked up. They've got my $50 but I haven't got a $50 shaft, just wreckage. I'm guessing they don't believe my story -- or maybe they're just hoping I'll go away. I'll go away, all right, but I'm going to take as much other business as I can warn off. Don't trust these people!"

"I ordered some golfshafts and i get them in a short time. But they wasn't all correct. So i wrote a email, i get not a futher answer, i wrote again...no answer, i wrote again...a other person ask me the same as the employee bevor...
please i want only a solution, not more....

Hireko/Dynacraft still a great place for components!

"I don't know what these other people are talking about. Possibly people with their own component outlet sites/stores? I have been doing business with this entity for 20 years, and they have always met, or exceeded my expectations. I do miss old Dynacraft, but when Hireko bought them out, it wasn't a bad thing. If you read about what you are buying, and look at all of the details involved, 98% of the time you will receive top notch service. The other 2% they will happily correct. Just my 2 cents. "

"I tried the online shipping calculator. It doesn't work.
I called to request a shipping quote. The employee told me to send an email.
I sent an email requesting a shipping quote. No response after a week.
I'll take my business elsewhere.

They never update "in stock"

"I had ordered club shaft, it appeared "in stock" on their site.
After 3 days, they informed me,
"The SteelFiber i80 Taper #7 Iron was in stock at the time your order was placed online. However, when the order was exported for processing, the item was no longer available."
Then, they said need a week to get it in stock. (In this time they still appear this item "in stock" on their site)
I was waiting a week but no update from them. I send e-mail again to them to ask "when it will come?".
They explain me, vender(aerotech?) made delay and didn't inform it, and need to another week to get in stock. (In this time they still appear this item "in stock" on their site)
Then, I made decision to cancel this order and ask them to confirmation letter of cancel.
They finally send it after 4 days later, I requested.
So, please be careful, if they appeared "in stock", maybe it is not true. Ask them delivery schedule before you make an order to them.

"All I tried to do was buy a product form your website, at the listed price...
When I typed my search into their search box:
Golf Pride Tour Wrap 2G Midsize

It clearly shows the reg price of $64.95 crossed out.
And the "SPECIAL PRICE: $55.95" under it, in red.

All attempts to replicate this page on their end failed and the customer support denied the existence of the price and the validity of my description... "we never list a price in red on our website...."

Well, I was basically called a liar and immediately sent them a "screenshot" of my computer, showing that page, on their site, with the "special price" in red.

It just didn't matter to them at all. Rude to say the least. Poor, poor customer service. Never again, lesson learned.

Don't bother with HireKo golf!

"BEWARE of HIREKO GOLF SHIPPING POLICIES
When you place an order, It listed shipping charges as FREE and give you your Grand Total.
Their FINE PRINT states that they may change shipping charges AFTER you have placed your order.
I was charged an extra $45.00 shipping and handling on a small $49.00 Order.

When I called Hireko Customer Support. I was LECTURED for NOT reading their FINE PRINT

"Great selection of pretty good golf components and accessories at good prices, but possibly the worst online ordering system I have ever seen.

I ordered on a weekend and kept getting error messages, finally ending with a "you must contact this seller" message that was the last straw. Turns out the order was actually submitted, but the didn't have my credit card info so they called to get it. After that, order arrived in reasonable time and well packed.

But sucky online ordering makes me wonder why they don't fix it. Plenty of complaints about it on their forums. This is what happens when you hire a family member to manage your Web site.
