"Ordered a pistol with a 15 rd mag. Since I live in MD, this isn’t compliant, and I assumed the FFL was going to put a pin in the magazine. The FFL told me that they no longer put pins in mags. I reached out to Hinterland, and one of the owners, Brett, basically told me that I’m screwed; that they shipped it with a 15 rd mag and the FFL is going to send the mag back to them. I asked if they would send me a compliant 10rd mag, and Brett said they wouldn’t. This was unacceptable to me since I paid over $600 for this gun. Then, when I asked to speak to a manager, Brett became extremely condescending, calling me “buddy”, saying it was my fault for ordering a non-complaint gun, and then said he was going to cancel the order and charge a re-stocking fee. While I certainly made my share of mistakes on this order, as a first time firearm purchaser, I found the customer service from one of the owners of this company to be completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I will not be using this store again. "
