"I was happy to see that I was saving money by ordering online, but the required $49.99 shipping to my house was unnecessary. It's a heavy-ish part and I can easily come and pick it up from you. I called to see if I could do that and was told then it would be an over-the-counter order so wouldn't get the online discount. Then add the taxes back on which negated any discount. So, fine, but not a great experience overall. Just let me come and pick up the part from you, saves you the hassle of shipping it and both of us the cost.
When I tried to add an air filter for my other car you added an additional $9.99 in shipping for a $25 part (discounted to $20 online) and that doesn't make sense when you could just throw it in the other box you're requiring me to ship anyway, so I'm just not going to order it from you. So, you lost easy money there. It's only $20 ($30 with shipping apparently ) but I'm sure I'm not the only one that has skipped out on this because of this policy."
