"I have to start my saying I have NEVER taken the time to write an on-line review before but after the OUTSTANDING customer service I received from Jonathan Schelling at HT Market, I felt I had to!

I ordered candy and party supplies for my daughter's 7th birthday party - Part of my shipment arrived right on time. However, after a few days passed without receiving the rest of the order, I was contacted by Jonathan who was concerned that I probably needed the candy for an event and he wanted to see what my exact time line was. He assured me that he would stay on top of the situation - making sure the distributor shipped everything correctly and that it would make it to me on time for my party. He even continued to track the package for me and sent daily updates for my convenience. I am happy to report that the package did, in fact, arrive on time!

I have NEVER had such excellent customer service. Not only did he handle my issue... he anticipated it. Truly amazing!

I would recommend HT market to anyone!

"I have been ordering from HTmarket for about 1.5 years and have spent over 13k.
Their prices are great and the selection is huge.
That being said, the real reason I continue to shop there is how I am treated.
They are a class act. From my first call with questions to my last order, I have been treated like a king. They deliver what they promise, when they promise.
HTmarket continues to earn my loyalty.
I give them the highest recommendation.

"I ordered an Elite EZ Frame screen and asked for 3 day shipping so I could set up my theater over the holiday. It actually arrived a day earlier than expected.
I got a great price and fast service.

"I recently ordered theater seating from HTmarket. However,it has only been downhill customer service wise since then. First of all, I asked for an online quote to be sent to me via email...never received, so I called back and was told I would be contacted by the service rep who helped me...no phone call and still no email. The individual who helped me was very nice so I wanted to give them the sale, so I called again...I should have just found another place to order from because after the purchase of the seating I never received an invoice for my purchase or tracking information! I had to hound them for that information as well! My seats were to be delivered a week later, however, they send the seats to the wrong consignee location in Indiana!! I live in South Carolina! No call whatsoever from the consignee or htmarket updating me on the where abouts of my furniture. I was told that I could not have the number to the consignee and they would have to call them. I have always had to call back to see what the outcome has been because they sure did not have the courtesy or decency of doing it! I requested the manager call me concerning my shipment and no call AGAIN! I WAS really excited about our seating purchase for our new home theater, but this company was a real buzz killer and I totally regret my purchase with them. On top of that, it looks like they will not eat any of the cost at all for any of the shipping charges due to it being sent to the wrong place! What great customer service...NOT! Yes I am frustrated with Htmarket and will not order from them ever again. "

"This is my second order from HTmarket.com.
The price on the items I ordered were the absolute lowest I could find, ANYWHERE.
A word of warning, though: carefully check their return policy, especially the restocking fee.
My latest order was for $300, which included two audiophile quality interconnects made by AudioQuest.
After auditioning for a day, I found no significant improvement in my stereo system performance, so I emailed their customer support department to arrange a return. I was aghast when quoted a 25% restock fee, equal to $75.00! This fee is ridiculously high and amounts to a form of theft, in my opinion!! I have ordered stereo gear from many online retailers-NeedleDoctor, AudioAdvisor, MusicDirect-to name a few. Most have no restock fee at all. Apparel retailers like ShoeBuy will even offer free return shipping. LLBean and Land's End have a very consumer-friendly return policy. HTmarket's policy is exactly the opposite-screw the customer. On the plus side, HTmarket DID offer me full STORE credit, and they DID reply promptly to my emails and attempted to find a solution to my concern. I opted to keep the cables not wanting my $300 held hostage by them. I will never purchase from them again due to their return policy/restocking fee. Please check their return policy very carefully, if you decide to purchase from them.

"I ordered a game chair on Dec. 17th 2009 for delivery as a Christmas gift to my godson. after the product never showed up, I called HTMarket and was told someone would get back to me in the morning. After recieving no return call the following morning, I called back and was told that the particular chair had been discontinued, but "for an extra $20" they could send me an alternate chair. I opted to cancel my order and let them know how I felt about a company who has discontinued items listed on their website for sale during Christmas, then tries to upsell me."

"I am a repeat customer with HTmarket.com. I have been ordering with them for over 10 years online. This is one of the few merchants online that I feel like I going to my local store. They are very friendly and helpful. I have gone through three theater upgrades with them. I recently updated my projector with them and it shipped promptly and it is great quality upgrade for my home theater. I have bought pretty much everything for my theater from them including seating, home theater carpet, and many accessories like popcorn machines over the years. Great guys at HTmarket.com"

"This seller proudly proclaims its customer service, and its BBB affiliation, but let me tell you about my experience.

First, the shipping. 10.81$ for the warranty shipped UPS (steep but OK) -it arrived 2 weeks later by USPS.

I bought an extended warranty for a TV. The warranty company said I didn't qualify, so I attempted to return. After numerous emails and several months of back and forth with the merchant, I had to charge back.

The merchant withheld 20% as a restock fee for the warranty, though there is no mention of this in its return policy.

I wish I had read the cancellation policy up front -- I probably would have never bought. If you order something and change your mind after 30 minutes, you get socked with a fee - unheard of....

Anyway, be careful. After a chargeback and BBB complaint, vendor still did not live up to expectations.

I recommend avoidance.
