The worst customer experience ever

"Hi,
I posted this to Amazon and will post to all my social media sights. The conversation I had with Michael from HD Video Depot was the worst retail experience I ever had in my life.

I received this product in October 2017 to use after speaking with Blackvue directly. I purchased it from HD Video Depot and they said I should not use another brand card and that is why I was receiving the errors I did on my unit. They said I must use Blackvue, I followed their guideline of reformatting the card every few weeks and the card worked for about 6 months until I pulled it out of my dashcam to copy a file over. When I put it back in my dashcam I reformatted the card and kept receiving the error "No SD card". I tried a different card which was Sandisk and the Sandisk card worked fine.

I did not know the Blackvue card only had a 6 month warranty as it is not advertised anywhere and is hidden deep in Blackvue's website. When I called today HD Video Depot I spoke to Mike who said he was the Amazon supervisor. He told me that I am out of luck and there was nothing he could do. He was laughing while telling me this. He began to speak to me as a child and lectured me on the fact I should have called when it happened. I explained this is only a few weeks past the warranty and most manufacturers of memory cards offer a lifetime warranty. He then said "Now you are going to see the bad Michael" when I said I would post negative reviews of how HD video treated me. When I asked to speak to a manager or owner he said there was nobody else and the owner is usually traveling and was not available. After that he hung up the phone on me while I was still speaking! Is that how a retailer today treats there customers??? You only have one chance to make a great impression and this was the total opposite. There are so many other places to purchase from I don't think Michael understands that. If he worked for me I would fire him over that. I suggest you do not purchase anything through HD Video Depot no matter how many great reviews they have. It only takes one bad experience to change the opinion of even a loyal customer.

"didnt deliver what was paided for, custemer service decided to just ignore me. if is not a regular thing, why simply not refund a customer no harm done. hope you ever have a porblem with a delivery, payment or product dont expect much. "
