I read revews and thought maybe I'd have better luck than some of the other reviewers ..... the first Apple iPhone 3GS cover I received was scratched and pattern discolored. HDAccessory said to pick another cover and they would send to me -- I did but they sent me a completely different one; however, I accepted it. Two weeks later, the replacement cover cracked on the back side... literally came apart. I did not drop it or damage it in any way so I knew it wasn't my fault. Wrote to HDAccessory again and they basically said you're SOL -- your order is over 30 days old, you've have one replacement, no refund or replacement! Not satisfied with the response because now I'm 0 for 2, I just called them again and was told by Elyssa that the item has to arrive damaged to be replaced.

You dont know the item is defective until you open the package. when filling out the return form you are told that they do not accept anything that has been opened. "I ordered a i pod case from this company and when i received it , it was defective and i wrote them an e-mail explaining the problem and their response was "to send them a pic of the defective item". I sent them a pic and they argued with me back and forth about the product. When i asked them for a refund they made me fill out this huge long form and were going to tae 25% off the price. It was absoltely ridiclous. I ended up just having them send me a new one instead. It was such a hassle and i WILL NOT buy from this company ever again!!"
"I ordered a extended battery pack for my iPhone 3G and when it finally arrived (after a very, very, long wait), it didn't work. The message on my phone was that it was incompatible. I immediately contacted HDAccessory.com and they wanted photos of the error message. Then they wanted me to ship the product back to them for testing, at my expense. So, now I have paid to ship this item twice. Guess what? They said the product was fine, so I could either have it back (shipped at my expense for a 3rd time), or have a refund. I, of course opted for a refund, and then I never heard from them again. I finally filed a complaint with PayPal and after quite a long while, was able to get a refund of the original cost of the product. Of course, I was still out for shipping it twice, which they didn't care one bit about.
I read the reviews AFTER I made my order and prayed they were not accurate. Unfortunately, they were. This company is horrible and should be shut down. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!!!"

"I was scared when I saw the other reviews posted on the site, because I had already ordered from them and I thought there goes my money. But I have to say I love this company!! I got my order in 3 days (I ordered on a Friday and got my stuff on Monday)!!! I have never received an order so fast. I purchased a hard cover for my new iphone and a car charger. Both came in mint condition and in the proper packaging. The phone cover did seem a little cheap, but i still love it and it fit my phone perfectly. I also tested out the car charger and it works perfect. After I read all the reviews, and before I got my order, I decided to try and call them to see if I could even get in touch with somebody. I admit the first time I called, I got a busy signal. But I called back 10 seconds after that, and a very friendly rep answered the phone. I don't know but maybe the company reformed itself due to all the bad reviews from customers? But I do know that I will definitely order from this company again.
Oh and i used paypal and i havent had any problems with them overcharging me or anything like that"

"Bought iphone covers which turned out to be not compatible with iphone because they have magnets which screw up the iphone's power. Tried emailing twice, the first time they said no refunds only exchange! Then when we accepted the exchange, they went back on their word. They claimed, we would have to ship back the items in it's original packaging. They would test it and if they thought it was ok, they will ship the same product to us at OUR expense. They still have not acknowledged that the product is defective and incompatible with the iphone. NEVER SHOP HERE! Don't let the low prices excite you."
"I was leery when i read some negative reviews after I had already ordered from this company. Fortunately my experience was good. I ordered a USB sync cable / charger, a car charger, and a leather flip case. I ordered on 5/19 and received the items three days later. Both chargers work fine, and the flip case exceeded my expectations. Total was $18.99 including shipping. An Apple/iphone name-brand car charger alone normally costs $30. Bargain prices, fast shipping, and items meet or exceed expectations. I have no complaints. Would buy from this company again."

"I really wish I would have found this site before ordering from these people. I wanted to get my wife a backup battery charger for her iphone for Christmas. I ordered one on the 15th of December and received it on the 22nd. Upon opening and trying it out a few days later, we found that it didn't work at all. I received a return authorization(they said there would be a restocking fee because my wife threw away the packaging with the wrapping). I finally received all of the mailing information by Jan. 14th. USPS delivery confirmation has it being processed in Industry and Santa Ana, CA on 1/30. Then it made it's way back to me. I just got it back on the 26th of Feb. There address had been blacked out with marker, and "return to sender" had been written. There was a note inside saying their RMA # had expired and that there wasn't any packaging. DUH! I had already explained that. I have emailed and am witing to hear back, but am not hopeful."
"Bought my wife the iphone 3g for Christmas and were looking for some accessories. This company obviously spends some money for advertising because they are high on the "google" list when you search for items.
I ordered a Jabra bluetooth, a silicone case, and an extra usb cable for the iphone. They were real quick about taking the payment and we finally recieved our merchandise in about two weeks. The iphone case was as advertised and sealed in a package. Although it does seem very cheap, but hey, you get what you pay for. The usb cable was in a zip lock bag with a rubber band around it. The Jabra bluetooth was in a factory package with all the instructions and parts. But, the package, upon careful inspection appeared to have been resealed. Sure enough the bluetooth would not take a charge much less turn on and the usb cable worked the first time I pluged it in, after some jiggling, but would not work again.
As stated by other reviewers, you can not get in touch with this company! If you review their return policies, they will take back, or exchange products IF the package can be resealed "as factory new" and within 30 days and blah, blah. Have you ever tried to open a plastic package that has a small electronic item in it without "damaging" the plastic? It's virtually impossible.
After two weeks of emails they finally responded, after I stated that I just wanted to exchange the items, and promised an exchange. It is Feb. 17, and they recieved the items around the second week of January. I sent the items back with confirmation delivery throught the USPS. They will not respond to my emails, I send them one every day, and they do not answere their phones.
The first impression I got from this retailer after recieving my products was that they were a reseler of damaged and returned products. I know that the big stores (ie: Best Buy) auction off by the pallet load, boxes of returned and damaged products. HDaccessories, sells cheap stuff at cheap prices. If you want something that can't be broken...like a cell phone case, go for it, but I would not recommend them for electronic purchases.
UPDATE! The day i posted this guess what i got in the mail?! No, I got the exact package I sent to HDaccessory. The two items i returned to them were returned to me! The box had a blank label placed over their address and they re-wrote my name and address and wrote "return to sender". So they screwed the post office and me for the shipping I spent. I've reported them to the BBB. By the way they have them rated with a F!"
