After 3 months, 6 unanswered mails. No customer support telephone. Live chat is only for new customers (victims).The only contact phone is for returns. But reading another reviews looks like is disconnected or a a waist of time... I don't know you people. But we should start a legal action against this site that steals money from guitar lovers... Besides that; It looks like, GEOTRUST (www.geotrust.com) is somewhat involved on this scam. Unless they don't care about getting sued for protecting a bunch of crooks.

"Note to self, ALWAYS research a vendor you haven't used before for complaints, etc., before buying. I did not.
Ordered a pickguard from them on 8/6 that had to be special-ordered from Fender. After 24 days, guitarpartssite sent me an email with a USPS tracking number on 8/30 saying they had shipped the item to me via 2-day priority mail. USPS did not receive electronic information from them until 9/4, which means USPS still didn't have my package. Here it is 9/9 and the shipping status is the same. In the meantime, I sent several emails that went unanswered, tried the online chat, but could only leave a message, and now their customer service number ***-***-**** has been disconnected!! So maybe they have fallen apart and gone out of business. If I don't hear from them in 24 hours, I am disputing the charge, and filing reports with BBB and my state's Attorney general's office. Lesson learned: ALWAYS research a vendor you haven't used before!

"Here's what I would do...first don't order from this crook. second. If you do, use paypal. They were able to get me a full refund because the crook never sent the item and lied about communication attempts when I threatened him."

"I got an SG kit from them - guitarpartsonle - aka TNT guitars and had a really bad experience. Neck was 'dog-legged' sideways bad. I sent email and mailed back body and neck. The replacement they send dog-legged in the oposite direction. Really bad quality. I tried to work it out with them. They said they do not take returns or do refunds. I want to be clear that had done nothing with the kit but open it to check out the parts. Again - I tried to work with them and was willing to exchange for a cheaper kit and take the loss. (The SG kit from them was $249.95 and I was willing to exchange staight across for a kit that they sell for $109.95. They were not willing to do anything for me. He was kinda rude on the phone to me too, even though I was being very even toned and factual in our conversation. He also told me he put the first one BACK ON THE SHELF TO BE RESOLD. Although I did not have a problem with the first purchase of pick-ups, I won't be purchasing from them again now that I found out if you have a problem they do not stand behind what they sell. BEWARE of this company/seller."

"I ordered a new tremolo for my Ibanez guitar, after 45 days my order is still "processing" and "Guitarpartsites expert sales staff" won't answer any of my mails. I am afraid this is some sort of scam. I have opened a dispute case with PayPal on this matter.

This business does not seem to care about their customers. They advertise on their webpage that they provide "Fast Shipping Worldwide" and "World Class Customer Service". This is a lie.

The webpage also says that they have international shipping and will calculate international shipping costs in the shopping cart, this seems to be a lie as well.
I will never shop there again.

"I purchased a guitar part (Ibanez 2FA1C10LC FAT10 TREM SET/CHROME) from this website as in stock and received an email that my order was in progress. I additionally received the ability to log into the site and check on my order. After a few weeks, I returned to check on the status of my order which was still awaiting shipping. After 4 weeks my order went into the following status:

NOTE: This order has already shipped or has reached the final stages of processing. Therefore this order is no longer editable.

At this point I sent an email to the site asking the status. Two more weeks passed with no response. Finally I called and spoke to a representative. He agreed that it had been a long time and the parts should have shipped but could offer me no eta on when it would ever ship as it was a remote warehouse. I asked to have a refund submitted, he agreed and said he would process it. Four more weeks pass and I realize I never received a refund. I again email and place a call to find out the status. At this point the representative tells me that it must no be available anymore. I again ask for a refund and this time he says that he cant do that and that I should dispute the charges.

Since this was with Paypal, by this time the time frame had run out that a charge can be disputed.

I have repeatedly emailed them to get resolution but have repeatedly been ignored.

"I'm another customer that made the mistake of not reading reviews before ordering from Guitarpartssite.com. I made an order for 2 items. A week later got a note finally on my order with a estimated shipping date another week out. The actual ship date was 5 days later than that. I rec'd the package the next day (express ups), but only had 1 of the 2 items in it. I send them an email and left a message over the phone too (their customer service line is a "call you back" only line). I ordered 2 things, paid for 2 things, rec'd 1 thing 3 weeks later. Their shippers are incompatent by not seeing the "quantity" of the order. I've tried to have a samuri's patience with this business (if you call it that) and they still managed to F things up. I was robbed out of $100 bucks."

"I wish this company would go out of business. Worst experience I had shopping online so far. They are giving false information. They didn't ship my parcel even though the status note was "This order has already shipped or has reached the final stages of processing". I was hoping to get my parts before Christmas. I didn't get any e-mail what so ever. I managed to contact them using the online chat after ~30 days. They are impossible to reach by phone. The reason they didn't ship my order was because my shipping address was different from PayPal address. Well it was, because I wanted the parcel to be shipped to a different location. Also I have been told that they sent me an e-mail, but probably it was in my spam folder. I'm using gmail and never check my spam folder. I couldn't find the mail in my spam folder - probably it has been deleted automatically. My question is: why the mail ended up in the spam folder in the first place and why am I given a false status note on my order? Probably guitarpartsite.com are just large scale spammers -.- Three time have I spoke with the lady from the online-chat and I have been told that I would get my money back - this didn't happen. I ended up reporting them to PayPal and finally got my money back after over 50 days since I paid for my parts. Pure pain."

"if I could choose "zero" stars, I would.

They don's answer emails, don't send my order, I had to report them to paypal doing a claim, and thanks to this, finally refunded my money.

It is the first time I have a bad attention from a company, fortunately not all as bad as Guitar Parts Site.

Verdict: Do not buy here unless you want a hard time.

"This seller is just plain terrible. I made an order for some guitar parts, and after two weeks, they had not shipped, stating it was on backorder. Two weeks later, I received a shipment of the wrong part. I called and they said they would take an RMA for the part. I asked the rep if he could verify it was still in stock. The rep didn't want to check because, "there are thousands of parts in the warehouse." I finally convinced him to call the warehouse, and he verified the part listed as "in-stock" on the website will never be stocked again because it was discontinued.

So I setup an RMA and returned the part, asking for a refund of the price of the part and my shipping for all the trouble. Received the RMA and no response on the request. I shipped the part back. I just checked and the part was received two weeks ago. They never credited my account. Now the rep is saying they can probably ship me the part, and I had to tell him they no longer stock the part and I already ordered from somewhere else anyway.

They're polite about everything, but this is the worst service I have received in years. Judging by the other reviews here, this is typical of the site. Do yourself a favor and avoid.

"If this is a newer company I don't forsee it getting any older.
I ordered and paid 30 days ago...Only one response 2 weeks ago and that said they'd "look into it"

Paypal dispute opened 4 days ago and they havn't responded to that yet either...

Don't waste your time and money with these people as there are far too many more reputable sellers !

UPDATE:
I just recieved a refund from seller via my paypal account....Apparently the merchandise is backordered.
No explanation, phone call, or email saying what happened and why.

VERY DISAPPOINTED !

"A fairly young company, I took a chance with these guys when I needed to buy a few parts to mod a friend's guitar. I purchased a few items from Guitar Parts Site, and others, for the same project, from a competitor (based on price/selection for what I needed).
GPS offers some really amazing prices, and shipping costs are more than reasonable. My order ended up arriving VERY quickly, and immediately curbed any doubt I had. By shipping super fast and providing me with some awesome deals, they were easily the first to come to mind when I needed to order more the following week.
I placed 2 separate orders this time (to clearly divide part costs for 2 different clients); it has now been several weeks since the orders were placed, and they have yet to ship either of them (or notify me of any problems). Thank god I paid with PayPal, as I am able to easily open a dispute that can be monitored by a third party.
No attempt at resolution has yet been made, and I will be escalating the ordeal in the next couple of days (meaning PayPal will review the situation and make a decision); my patience is running out. When I am laying down a few hundred dollars for merchandise, and paying for USPS Priority Shipping, I really expect better service.
As it turns out, I ended up not needing a couple of the items from my first order, so I tried contacting them for a merchandise refund. I have yet to hear back about that either, and am now nearing the end of the 30 days outlined in their return policy. If I finally receive a response on day 31, or shortly thereafter, I may lose my mind. I'll attribute the loss to my poor instincts and go back to more reliable sellers, while PayPal attempts to retrieve the rest of my money.
I don't typically take the time to review businesses/products, but the 2 positive reviews that were posted here did contribute to my decision to order from GPS; people need to be aware of situations such as mine. If you check a few other review sites, you should find reviews similar to this one, that I (unfortunately) did not find until after the fact.
You may have good luck with them, but I certainly wouldn't suggest taking that chance, with all the other options available to you.
I sincerely hope GPS is driven right into the ground. Businesses like this should not be allowed to survive, and if they continue in this fashion, they most certainly will not. That being sad, I'll be almost as happy choosing, simply, to shop elsewhere.

UPDATE:
PayPal dispute was closed and money was refunded this morning, which I do certainly appreciate, but that is the last time I will be anywhere near this site.
