Doesn’t stand behind their warranty!

"I bought their garlic starter pack and when I unpacked them they looked alright. It says to plant within a week or 2 after opening. We planted most of the garlic but some was rotten. I called and they said it’s only a 3 day warranty. Why should I plant it and wait for nothing to happen? Just ship out a replacement…is that too much to ask when they say they guarantee it if planted by Nov 15th and today is Oct 25!?!? I won’t ever order from them again. All they did was go to the farmers market and grab a few cheap heads of garlic then sold it to us for $40."

I would give them no stars

"Total scam company! Bought just three items and after a week of not getting any confirmation of shipment I emailed and they said oh one of your items is out of stock so I asked for them to ship the other stuff and to ship me the other item when it was in stock. They told me I’d be waiting months. So I asked for a refund and they sent me a generic looking store credit. I said no I wanted it back on my card and they said they needed to get the boss for that. I waited another week and nothing. So I requested a full refund. Will see if I get it. Horrible scam! "

SCAM ALERT - Horrible company horrible employees

"I bought my trees on 1/4/21. It’s April 5th now and I still haven’t received them. Emailed Grow Organic several times about the status and they promised me they’ll ship out my trees. Even promised to talk to the boss and get my shipping expedited. This was a lie. They finally told me they doing have the trees and blamed it on the grower. Only took them three months to tell me this.

I tried to write a review on their website but it's not going through. I guess they don't like the truth.

Scam of a "company"

"After nearly TWO MONTHS after my purchase, and two email confirmations, I was told my order was out of stock... OUT OF STOCK?! HOW?! I found comparable items for half the price and no shipping. Safe yourself the trouble and do not buy from Grow Organic or whatever else their current nursery name is. "

Flowering bulbs - not great germination

"I bought 45 bulbs (3 packets of 15), and received the bulbs packaged good, however the direction of the sprouts were all over, not the right side up, most likely because of how they were stored. Many bulbs had the sprout going towards the roots. After few months, I have 26 bulbs germinated, which means 19 bulbs were defective - 42 % was bad!
Given such a dismal percentage of success with the bulbs, I am not too impressed with the product. I contacted the company as well, and they just replied back saying we cannot guarantee germination.

Bad product and poor communication

"I had bought bare root raspberry canes from groworganic.com. After planting them, these had not started to leaf out or put up shoots within a month and a half (I bought two other varieties from other vendors and they had already put up sprouts). I called groworganics.com and they said to wait until after May 15th (my call was a few days before this date). What I was NOT told is that I only had until June 1st to call back. Because of some travel, I was not able to call back until June 18th. When I did so, I was told that there was nothing they would do. So I am $50 poorer with nothing to show for it except some bare root sticks in the yard. "

Don't believe the website

"I placed an order for one item, shown as in stock. The store says "where all items are in-stock typically ship within 1–2 business days". Three business days later I checked on the order. No indication of anything happening, but my credit card had been charged. Checked the next day, still nothing to indicate shipping. I checked the item, and it was shown as backordered, due in, in a couple days. I waited. Checked back in two days, the item showed backordered, due in the next day. I checked the next day, and the item was just listed as backordered. Never did I receive any notification about the item being backordered. I contacted and asked that if the item was not available to please cancel my order. The response was, "We are still waiting for the seed to come in and expect it any day. Please let me know if you would like to wait for the seed or wish to cancel this order." So I responded that I wished to cancel the order. No response from the vendor. After a day I sent another email to ****@**** and asked for confirmation of the order cancellation. The next day I received a reply indicating the order was cancelled and my credit card had been credited - "Please allow 7-10 business days for your credit card company to complete the transaction." All in all, not the sort of business I enjoy doing business with. Looking at my order on the site today, still has no indication that the order was cancelled."

"I ordered from them on 10/7/13 via website parts that I needed for a hoop house and was told that their product ships within 1 business day and would arrive in an additional 5-7 business days (ie 6-8 business days total). It is now looking to arrive 10/29 (that is 16 business days - or a little over 3 weeks) which is too late for me to use this product for my cold frame (we will get solid freezes by then) so I called the company to cancel it (10/24). They said they couldn't since they shipped it and that I can return it and loose the shipping money both ways. I strongly recommend AGAINST this company for any time-sensitive purchase. They do not support their own statements on their web page for ship times claiming that it is "FedEx's" fault."
