Scam business

"This company will sell you items they don't even have in stock online but will take your money without telling you. They are also known for shipping people the wrong item on purpose since it's something cheaper than you actually bought. Biggest scam company, be safe and stay away from this crooked place."

Best customer service and great prices

"I had trouble ordering a ballast, and they helped me out right away. Then when I found out that I didnt need that ballast, I caught them before it shipped and they had no trouble refunding me.
Their prices are really good too.

Ships wrong items

"I ordered a capacitor in the spring for my light to start seedlings from the garden. I found a few places that had the capacitor, but settled on growers house since they had good reviews. The initial order came when expected, but they sent me a different(cheaper) capacitor that would not work for my light. I sent them an email and they said sorry and sent a return printing so I could drive to the Fed Ex place and drop it off. I added their special code so they can know what it's in reference to. After about 10 days, I get an email asking what was wrong with the capacitor. I explain they sent me the wrong one, and I would like the correct one. After another week I get the same capacitor in the mail (the same wrong one that won't work.) I emailed them that they sent me the wrong capacitor again. (It says the MF and Voltage on the side of the capacitor.) This time they did not email back. Update: since I posted the review, someone called me and took care of it. They didn't have the capacitor in stock, but gave me a refund and covered shipping. So, they made it right in the end. You may want to call ahead and make sure they have the item in stock before ordering. "

Can't even ship an order

"After waiting over 5 days for them to ship the order I contacted them and learned they hadn't even received the order at the warehouse even though they took my money same day, had to argue to get upgraded to 2 day shipping, and didn't receive any updates until close of business the next day. Horrible way to do business and I will be taking mine elsewhere from now on"

"My nextgen ballast stopped working immediatlely after I got it. They helped me trouble shoot over the phone, but turned out the ballast was kaput. They sent me a new one same day. These guys rock."
