"The mats themselves are fantastic. When I decided to open my own school there was no question what mats I would use, the same ones I'd been training on with my instructor for the past ten years. My experience with the shipping company they used, YRC Freight, was infuriating though. The mats were promised on either Tuesday or Wednesday and I didn't get them until 9:00 PM Friday due to mechanical breakdowns with their trucks due to the extreme cold we'd been experiencing. That I could deal with except no one kept me in touch with me about what was happening. I had to call them and three times I was told I would be called with an update only for the customer service person to go home and leave me sitting for hours waiting for a truck that wasn't coming. I realize that Greatmats can't be blamed for this and they use many different companies to ship but my story needed to be heard. "
"I wanted to put in a dance studio in to our spare bedroom. I did my research and went with the tiles from Greatmats that goes over the carpet. They snap together and then I put Marley flooring over it to create a better dance surface. The product said it would work over carpeting (which is the whole reason why I bought it) but it did not work on our carpeting and I'm completely unable to return it. Almost $600 later I have an unusable product stacked up in my spare room. "

"The customer service, delivery and appearance were all great but I stepped on the floor and it instantly snapped....totally unusable without modifications. I spent tons of time and money for a professional-type floor only to discover I can’t even walk on it. To be fair, it may be just fine on a solid underlayment but any cushion appears to cause product failure. Money wasted in my opinion. "
