"I ordered two plants in 2012. They were backordered, and Gold of Sunshine promised every few weeks that they'd be sent, giving me a new date. Eventually they stopped writing. I asked for my money back, or the plants to be sent (since they still advertise this particular plant). Someone wrote back to me that they had some trouble back in that year, and they would send me a check returning my money. They never did. When I write to them now I see that my email address is blocked. It isn't that much money - about $50 - and I cannot understand why they don't make good on their promises. I've saved all the emails over the years so I can prove that they're a rip-off company. Don't buy anything from them. My purchase date was 7/17/2012, but the purchase date below won't register that."

Word of advice I would never order from any company online that does not except Dwolla, Paypal or a normal service to use a visa card. I ordered a ton of Kratom from this company I have always had a good experience with this company ordering threw Dwolla. But there is only buyer protection using those services. I would never send anyone a check or cash.... I ordered from this company for a few months got a ton of Kratom which was always good quality. I no longer order from them anymore after a bad experience but they did still send me product it just took a month to get it. They always have sent me everything that I ordered. Strange thing is that they shipped out my first order and although it was a bit slow I was still pleased....but now it would appear they have taken me for a ride like others that have posted on the scam sites I read today. "DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT buy from this company. You will just be throwing away your money. I ordered 2 "6-10 inch" plants in August. I got a shipping notification, nothing showed up. I contacted them nothing, I contacted again they responded. They never actually shipped them. I finally received them weeks later. They were in poor condition, and those 6-10 inch plants were 2 inches and 4 inches. They lost all their leaves with in the first few days, I spent the next few weeks trying to nurse them back to health, then the plants just gave up and died. I am a VERY experienced with plants, its not like I don't know what I am doing. I contacted them yet again, nothing, and again, nothing. Of course they refuse to respond to my messages now, why should they? They have their money. DON'T give your money to this company, find another company. ANY other company......."

So far, I have been disappointed as I have not received what was ordered, nor have I received a response to either of the 2 emails that I sent to GOS customer service.
My sitution: I ordered 2 live salvia plants to be sent to California on October 11th and then 2 days later received an email from Stamps.com (GOS's shipping provider) saying the shipment was sent and it included a confirmation number. When I tracked, nothing came up the first time I looked, the second, time I looked or the third time. I finally called USPS with the tracking number and they said it appeared that the order was not actually ever sent. I then emailed ****@**** on 2 separate occasions and still have not heard back.
I certainly have my fingers crossed that they reply and send the order I paid for. I will provide update if anything changes, but for now, I would not suggest ordering from them unless you want to be ripped off. "
"Happy to say, my experience with Gold of Sunshine ended up being a positive one due in fact to the support given when my package was stated as delivered but never received.
After my order hadn't arrived and it had been 10 days, I sent ****@**** an email expressing my concerns. A response came from 'Anna S.' who was able to track it and see that it had already been delivered - which was even more concerning/disappointing since nobody in my house had seen the package.
But what could have been a very unfulfilled interaction due to a theft or misplacement, turned right around when I received an email from Anna S. stating that they are not only going to resend the package, but they will resend it with signature delivery to ensure that what had been ordered will be received.
Its refreshing to see a company step up and extend that courtesy even if the fault was not on their end.

"I attempted to purchase products from Gold of Sunshine 7 WEEKS ago today. The products claimed to be shipped and delivered within the week. However, to this day my shipment has still not arrived. I have tried to contact the usual ****@**** email address that they list for support twice now to resolve my issues, the first time more than two weeks after the original date of purchase and then the second time more than five weeks after the original purchase. I have seen no sign of my shipment, and most discouragingly of all, I have received absolutely no reply from anyone within this organization. A problem with shipping or delivery is one thing, but to completely disregard and ignore a customer's problem is another entirely and is completely unacceptable. DO NOT buy from this company, as they will not give you the time of day if your order fails to deliver."

DO NOT buy from Gold of Sunshine!!! Guarantees of live plants and free samples are LIES!!! They lied to me and stiffed me out of 2 oz, so who knows what amount you’ll get (if any). Forget about your plants being alive when you receive them!
I ordered 2 of this option (2 plants + 1 once of dried leaves) plus 1 order of 1/4lb dried leaves. Altogether, I should have received 6oz of dried leaves and 4 live plants.
The “live” plants showed up, but most of the leaves had fallen off and the plants were BARELY alive. I received the 1/4 of dried leaves, but NOT the other 2 oz that they mention in their false advertisement.
I figure things happen, so I contacted them. Nothing… They won’t respond. It appears they don’t care about sticking to their guarantees or even giving you what you paid for. As long as they have your money, that’s all they care about."
