"I always try to read reviews of companies (especially online) before I make any purchase. Needless to say, I was a bit nervous about Go Cyber Shop!'s mediocre scores. But I wanted a Flip Top for my PS2, and their price was right. Plus, I liked that they spent the time to post counter comments to some of the negative posts. I braced for impact and expected the worst, but I pleasantly surprised!

I ordered late wednesday night. My order was processed and shipped the next day (I got an e-mail with my tracking number too), and by the time I got home from work Friday, UPS pulled up and handed me my new FlipTop! And everything works perfectly!

Some have complained about the very basic packaging, but let's be honest, they're not shipping porcelain statues. It arrived intact and in pristine condition, ready for my modding project (which went flawlessly).

Honestly, I was (and still am) very impressed with Go Cyber Shop!, and I've told my friends about it. I'll certainly look to them in the future if I do any more modding!

"I ordered from GCS without even looking at resellerratings, because the professionalism of their site impressed me enough not to think I needed to. I did end up looking them up while searching another shop, and was at first taken aback by their somewhat lacking ratings. I did take time to read through most of the posts, and while a few of GCS's replies were a bit unprofessional, I was very pleased to see GCS take the time to reply on RSR; while also adressing nearly all of the poor experiences in a favorable manner. I just placed my order with them tonight for a ps2 popup case and swap disc to play my naruto import with :-), their website and ordering process is one of the better ones I've shopped from; and I am looking forward to coming back here to give details of the transaction.

"Paid online for an act-labs shifter. Received email next day saying that the item was not in stock and no longer available. I was asked if I wanted my visa refunded and I replied that I did on the same day - the 10th of June. Never received a refund. Emailed Marni at customer service and received an automated response claiming my email would be replied to within 48 hours. No reply. I emailed again. No reply. Telephoned - had to leave a message. Left a message with daytime and cell number. No call back. Finally contacted Marni in person by the second week in July. She promised she would look into it and return my call the next day. No call back. Spoke to Marni again on the 20th of July and she claimed that this was the first she had heard of the matter and had not received any phone calls or messages from me! She stated that she would refund my visa. I would not recommend buying anything from this company. They should have stated in their website that the item was not in stock and needed to be ordered. They should have refunded my money the same day that I replied to them requesting a refund. It should not have taken more than 30 days to refund this transaction."

"I received my HDLoader within 2 days, great shipping and support. But there is a problem which is not Go Cyber Shops' fault. There HDLoaders are fake. They happen to get the fake ones that are circulating around. Hopefully I will get a refund or exchange. In our defense, we have tested this product and confirmed it works 100% before sending to customers. We will be contacting the official website to get more information.

Just an update, the official hdloader.com website has been taken down, and they have been forced to stop producing. I guess there are really no 'fake' hdloaders since no one had rights to produce this product.

Unfortunatley this product is being discontinued.”

"Well after quite a mixup in communication with gocybershop (it seems customer support is the wrong place to send your customer support mails..), I finally got my gun, it took quite a long time, but I did get it.

I certainly am glad that they didn't delay my breaker pro disc to send it along with my gun.

If your buying from gocybershop, just make sure what you want is in stock and you should be fine :)

"I ordered a Playstation 2 with a chip installed for $255.72 almost a month ago. I paid with Paypal and my address wasn't confirmed, so after a week or so they told me they wouldn't ship it to me. It does say this on their website, so that's completely my fault for that portion of the delay. I later chnaged my billing address and got my current address confirmed, so a week later they changed my order status to order received and sent me an email telling me they'd send it as soon as tech finishes installing the chip and will provide me with a UPS tracking number. It's been about a week now and nothing has changed. I'm pretty sure it only takes about an hour at the most to soder a chip on, so I'm not sure what the deal is. They offer the best price around for the product and also provide free UPS shipping, so I guess as long as they send it off sometime soon, the experience will be worth it. But they've had my $255 for nearly a month and I still have nothing to show for it. I'll let everyone know soon how this turns out.

"Ordered a modchip on Dec 20th.........chose "UPS Overnight".

Received modchip on Dec 21st.........UPS invoice indicates item was shipped "UPS Standard".

Basically paid 1.30$ (cdn) more for a service I didn't receive.

That said, item was delivered in perfect functional order - very quickly - very satisified with the end-result.

Given the proximity of Toronto to GoCyberShop - I understand why they downgraded my shipping service - just wish they didn't bill me the overnight rate.

"Aside from all the reviews I've seen on this site, I decided to take the risk and go ahead and buy something from them because they were the only ones that had it in stock at a great deal. Sure I've heard of the rule if its too good to be true then it probably is but the item was only 23 bucks so I said why not. So I order it Thursday afternoon and paid extra for overnight shipping. I was expecting them to ship it the next day and thats exactly what they did. I understand that it would probably cost them more to have it arrive on the weekend so I was crossing my fingers hoping that it would arrive on Monday. I got the package on Monday on time via UPS Next Day Air. I couldn't have asked for better service. Thanks gocybershop."

"First of all I must mention that this company has totally ignored my remarks by emails.
I choose GCS because of the professional look of their web.
On May 28, 2004, I paid for Flash 2 advance linker + 64 MB Card. A month later the status of my order changed to "discarded". After several emails and no responses from them I decided to phone them (it is very expensive from Czech Rep., EU) They said, they had not received any confirmation of the bank transfer. So I sent them the bank confirmation by email. Guess what happend - no respons from them. I called them again, they told me they had not been allowed to open an enclosure of my email. Why could not they write it to me?
I faxed them the confirmation of the bank transfer and hoped, they would finally understand that I am right.
Guess again what happend - there has not been any response since then.
I sent the confirmation of the money transfer to resellerratings.com (by fax)as a veryfication of my claim.
If there are no problems with your order, you may do a good bussiness. In other case there are only troubles with them. I still hope I will receive what I paid for.

"What a shame, despite Go Cyber Shop's terrible rating on this site, despite all the complaints, I decided I would give them the benefit of the doubt, but they burned me. I placed an order for an in-stock Dreamcast VGA adapter, plus next day UPS shipping. Paid for it via a PayPal order in which I clearly stated it was the payment for that order. I waited patiently for 5 days, no e-mails, nothing. Checked their site, and the item was now out of stock. I sent them an e-mail, asking what the status of the item was, waited for 3 days, no e-mail response. I waited another week, checked their site again, and the item's page was gone from their site. So, I sent another e-mail asking for a refund, I just wanted to get my money back for an item I apparently wouldn't be receiving. And guess what, no response, no PayPal confirmation of a refund, nothing. They took my money, and gave me nothing for it. I don't want any of your inane justifications, cyber shop, appearing under my comment, this is how it happened, and despite what you can say, I never received my money back. This is why cyber shop has such a low rating. If I had trusted this site, I wouldn't have lost my money. Do the smart thing, take your business elsewhere, you get better services from E-Bay sellers.

"After reading the reviews posted here I thought it best to email them before placing my order. Jason responded in less than 2 days assuring me that the Breaker Pro disc I wanted to purchase was in stock and would ship within 24 hours. I just placed my order. I paid via PayPal and requested the free UPS Ground shipping. I received my invoice nearly instantaneously. So far so good. I'll update as soon as I have more info.

Update: Well my product shipped a couple of days after I ordered it. It came via UPS and it took 5 days to ship, so from beginning to end I had my purchase in a week. Fan-tastic! :) I have no complaints about Go Cyber Shop, and I'd certainly purchase from them again.
