"these people are scammers......they sell you an extended warranty and you never see the paperwork........when you try to call their customer service their phones are down with a message to try again tomorrow......when i did get through after trying three days in a row i was told they would put the warranty in the mail and i would receive in about a week......still waiting (23MR08).....two hundred dollars for a runaround.......don't let it happen to you......."

"Hidden fees galore! Pull out a magnifying glass to read all the small print. I bought a LCD TV. I think I have processed the order when I get emails and phone calls stating that I have to speak to one of their representatives to "verify". Over 2 days I spent over 4 hours on hold. The first thing they try to do is to sell me a newer, more expensive model. When I decline, the representative informs me that the 37" LCD TV does not come with a stand, but he would be happy to sell me one for an additional $50. At this point it is no longer a bargain. Then I find out that there is a mandatory 6% insurance fee that is not included in the original invoice emailed to me (where they do talk about S&H). 6% on a Sharp 37" LCD TV is a rather large fee. At this point it feels like a scam. However, being frustrated I reluctantly agree to the new model. A few minutes later, I find the model on Amazon for much cheaper without any hidden charges or small print. I call back within the hour to cancel and after 45 minutes on hold (and 3 separate people) I am told that they are going to charge me $92 if I cancel. What a bargain. If you want to be scammed shop gobuydigital.com."

"gobuydigital is the WORST site I have ever bought anything at. It takes about 1/2 hour to get to talk to somebody, If you do get throught, the person is almost always an idiot, a jerk, and very rude. If you ask to talk to a manager, they put you on hold for another 1/2 hour, and you get to talk to somebody even dumber than the last. I placed an order for a TV on Jan 4. They said they shipped in on Jan 7 (though they couldn't/wouldn't give me a tracking number). The shipping was supposed to be 10 days, on the 21st, they said it was scheduled to be delivered by the 22. On the 23, they told me the item had never been shipped and that the order was cancelled. So I askded for a refund and they said it takes 72 hours to process the refund. That was 432 hours ago and I am still waiting for this crappy company to refund me my money. I called them up and after another hour on hold, I asked to talk to their billing department and they refused.

NEVER order anything for gobuydigital.com. They are a bunch of crooks and they only hire morons.

"I bought a Sharp LC-52D92U and finally received it on 12/18/2007 via FedEx.

I originally ordered the TV on 12/2/2007 with an expected 12-24 hour timeframe for shipping. Needless to say, this was not met.

After placing an order, the purchaser is required to contact gobuydigital to "confirm the transaction". This confirmation entails trying to sell you extended warranties, HDMI cables, and other high profit margin items. I expected that, but it gets worse.

It took me many calls to customer service to get this TV shipped. Average wait time was 45 minutes for someone to pick up the phone. Each time, I was told a different story about my order and where the TV actually was located. I tried to cancel my order, and was told that there would be a 10% charge for cancellation. It was not until I called Visa and had them start a chargeback that the TV was finally shipped. Once shipped, of course, FedEx got it to me quickly.

The product sold is not the product pictured on the website. The website is misleading since it shows a stand on the TV that is not included in the price. They charged an additional $99 for the stand. As well, they included a 6% "pro-rated" fee that they claim was insurance for FedEx. I called FedEx and they said that they had nothing to do with it and that gobuydigital.com was misrepresenting FedEx.

The website also states that the TV is a new TV. However, the manual was missing the warranty page. Looking carefully, I could see where it had been removed. A call to Sharp informed me that this is what is done with refurbished TV's. However, at that time, Sharp could not confirm that it was refurbished.

I am handing the matter over to an attorney in New York that specializes in fraud.

"i ordered an LCD tv from this vendor and of course much like many of the NY vendors someone called me to try to get me to buy a more expensive shipping method and an extended warranty. So after some back and forth we decided on a price to get "faster and safer" shipping. So I was quoated 3-7 days. Well not until 3 1/2 weeks later after various calls where the wait time is over 20 minutes - and mind you they had already deducted my account - I was able to talk to 2 gentlemen there that where by far the worst customer service I have ever received. They were loud and threateting and even though I wanted to cancel my order they were like 'No No you will have to pay extra" So I reccomend that you avoid gobuydigital or gobuydigital.com at all cost - expect problems. They are suppose to refund some money but have yet to get contacted by them regarding the issues. So thats my experience and I buy online about once a week."
