"Good price but non-delivery. I've been waiting for 6 months and still have not received the computer. I've had 2 e-mails from the company since February,2003 which said they were going to ship, but I haven't received anything. There is no address listed on the website, and they don't respond very well to e-mail or telephone messages."

"Ditto and getting burned here too!
These guys claimed to of had a fire back on 1/21. Not only did they neglect to mention it on their site until almost 2 weeks after, but they never even bothered to acknowledge they received my money. They had no problem claiming the money out the paypal account the same day. This was an obvious fraud that took advantage of the paypal rules that provide almost no protection to buyers.

(A WARNING TO PAYPAL USERS: Paypal refund claim rules state that money will only be returned to you IF the seller has funds in his paypal account- ie: if a fraudulent seller removes all funds from his paypal account your screwed when filing a claim)

I actually felt bad that they had this "fire" Finally after repeated emails I got word my item would be shipped from them. THEY DIDN'T SHIP S**T!

Paypal finally suspended their account.

"I got burnt too by these guys. I checked the registration of the domain and all the information is incorrect to. Back when I first attempted to contact them, the info had a person's name on it but now that information is different and generic. I thought it was really unreasonable for shipping on two sticks of RAM to be $11.84. I was expecting 2 day delivery. Here it is over a month and still no contact from them and I have emailed every address, called every number and even thought about driving 420 miles to their office. Perhaps the FBI or BBB need to get involved as their site is still up and apparently open for business to steal anyone and everyone's money! Perhaps we should all chip in and have them hacked or have their server crash as they offer good deals however they are STEALS!"

"I ordered 512mb pc2700 name brand mem on January 19th and money was only accepted through paypal..who acknowledged delivery of money within 20mins, GHZcomputers never shipped memory, paypal says they cannot recover my $99.19 from the seller. They do not respond to phone calls or emails. I hope they buy food with the money and choke on it."

"I ordered a ram on January 18, 2003. Gigahertz immediately got their money via PayPal. I have never received a confirmation that they even have my order. Their web sight says to keep the orders coming because their warehouse is still shipping orders as they receive them. If their warehouse is running why won't they respond to their customers? They do not respond to emails or return phone calls. I feel like I have been the victim of fraud. Especially since the Rockford Fire Department has no record of a fire at a company called Gigahertz on January 21, 2003 and I couldn't find a Gigahertz in the phone book. "I ordered the ram on Jan 16. Jan 22 I emailed as nothing had happened yet, got reply in 30 minutes. Said ram would be shipped and payment accepted next day. Payment was accepted next day.

THEN, they said there had been a fire on the 21st (Huh? They responded on the 22nd!)... At any rate, the RAM finally got here on Feb 08 in a ZIP-LOCK SNACKSIZE BAGGIE wrapped in bubble paper.

And what do you know, it doesn't work or isn't compatible with my mobo. 3 promises broken.

Never order from these people, EVER.

"This company lacks any knowledge of what customer service is. I placed an order and was charged via paypal. I never recieved my product. According to them, there was a fire. Of course this is a legitimate excuse for the delay, but when a customer sends 8 e-mails and leaves about 10 messages they deserve to be answered. Throughout the entire period they failed their customers by ignoring their messages and not returning calls. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!"

"I ordered a stick of ram for my mother on the same day as the last post. She has not recieved any replies by email and the phone message is always an answering machine. They claimed to have had a fire on 1-21-03 but my wife called the Rockford Fire Department records department where the website said they were located and there were no fires that day. I think this company is a scam. My mother is also having problems getting the charges reveresed."

"I usually never register on this forum, but this company has been so bad to me that I just had to vent. I ordered a stick of ram and immediately, it asked me for my paypal account. I thought it was weird, but I went ahead anyway, and they charged me right away! What company charges right away instead of charging when the product is shipped? Anyway, it has been over two weeks, and I have not received my RAM. Any e-mails I've written have not been replied to and now their website is down. I'm afraid that they might have taken my money and just run with it.

I had taken up consumer action with paypal in order to try to get my money back. Paypal tried to contact them but got no response so it decided that i had been wronged, but unfortunately, they say they can not get my money back. Now i'm not someone who can afford to lose $100 dollars. I'm a starving college student who can only eat about two meals a day because i was saving to buy a sorely needed computer system for my technology classes (IT student). Now this company has taken my money, but i will not rest easy until this place burns down again...
