"TERRIBLE!!! I PLACED AN ORDEWR ON 10/30/12 AND MY VISA ACCOUNT WAS CHARGED ON 10/31.12 FOR $1,258.99. THEN ON 11/1/12 I EMAILED THE COMPANY AS PER THEIR INSTRUCTIONS TO DISCUSS DELIVERY SINCE I WAS GOING TO BE OUT OF TOWN FOR SEVERAL DAYS. I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A RESPONSE TO MY EMAIL! THE I CALLED THE COMPANY ON 11/5, 11/6, 11/9 AND 11/1O. NOONE HAS EVER GOTTEN BACK TO ME ABOUT MY ORDER. I CALLED AGAIN THIS MORNING AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD CHECK ON MY ORDER AND GET BACK TO ME. I DOUBT THAT I WILL HEAR FROM THEM AND WILL PROBABLY END UP HAVING TO DISPUTE THE CHAGRE WITH VISA. THEY ARE TERRIBLE TO DEAL WITH."

"Bad, very bad. I have an order number that does not work when I try to check on line about my order. When I try to call them nobody answers. If I call about 10 times whomever I finally talk to tells me the order wil be shipped out the next day and I will get an email. I haven't got any email. I'm about ready to call my credit card company to see if I can get the charges removed."

"Not only did they NOT deliver. They have never contact me - in almost 2 weeks after placing the order. I called twice, and Zach said he would get back to me but never called. "Linda" presumably one of the owners, was sent two emails, and again, no response. I would NEVER suggest using this merchant in a hundred years - steer clear based on my dismal experience with them."

Imagine our surprise when we called two days later to confirm that we had ordered the correct color and they said the order hadn't gone through because the manufacturer doesn't make the microwave anymore. We received nothing via e-mail or phone from the company informing us about this. We would still be waiting for the microwave if we hadn't called."

"I ordered an Avanti bottom freezer refrigerator from Gerhards. They had the best price including shipping. Pilot Freight trucked and delivered the frig from Gerhards in Pennsylvania to Texas. Everything was great. Item was delivered with no damage whatsoever in a well protected manufacturer's box. You can follow online the shipping progress. Delivery was setup on time and everyone all along the line was courteous. You always hear horror stories especially having a large item shipped across the country but like I said everything was just fine. Thanks!"

"The website did not work properly. I called and someone finished to sale over the phone.

The delivery and installment went very well and the dryer is great. I'm very happy with it.

The thing I am NOT happy with is that I emailed and called several times advising you that I forgot to buy the 5-Year Warranty that is advertised on the website. NO ONE has gotten back to me yet.

Would someone please call me or email me so that I can purchase this warranty.

"This place is awesome....I ordered an entire viking kitchen and they had it installed in my house and installed in 5 days. Not only was there pricing the best I could find, but they saved me the sales tax and the salesman Zach even called me the day after everything was installed just to make sure I was happy with everything! Never bought a whole kitchen of appliances before (hope I don't have to any time soon lol) but if I do i know where I am going! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

"I placed my order online after a brief phone call to Gerhards to establish availability and shipping time, which in itself was a smooth process. I was briskly assured that 'of course it's in stock, otherwise we wouldn't have it on our website, would we?' and 'of course we ship the next business day, we're professionals here.' However, it was necessary to follow up with 6 separate phone calls to in order to receive any acknowledgement of my order, and 3 further phone calls to determine when the shipping date would be. In all my dealings over the phone with this business, I found that not a single associate was willing to identify themselves by name, or take ownership of any assurances I had received through earlier phone conversations. Once they had my money, 'of course we have it in stock' became 'well, now, we have to see if we have one of those, and where it might be, and that takes time, now doesn't it' and 'of course we ship the next business day' became 'definitely this coming Friday', which became 'probably sometime next week.' The freight company they hired to actually ship the product took 10 days to move it roughly 300 miles, and appears to hire drivers unable to comprehend that street addresses generally run in numerical order. While the product did (finally) arrive in (relatively) undamaged condition, it took 22 days to do so, largely because it appears that they sat on my money for a week and a half prior to making any attempt to provide me with the service that they seemed offended to have to assure me would happen immediately. It is safe to say that I am reluctant to have any future dealings with this company, and if I am faced in the future with the choice between dealing with them, or paying 20% more to deal with somebody else, I will happily choose to deal with the other vendor, or do without."
