Diamonds Fell Out Within a Month

"I have never been more disappointed in a piece of jewelry than the ring my husband gifted me from Gemologica. My ring had 4 diamonds set in a halo around a lapis stone. I wore my ring a handful of times before I noticed that not 1 but 2 of the diamonds had fallen out and the prongs holding them were broken. When I contacted customer service, "Judy" responded by rudely blaming me. "It’s like driving a car into a tree and trying to blame the manufacturer that the car is defective because it was dented." Her only offer was to provide a partial refund or charge the full cost of replacing and repairing the ring. I was also told to just find a local jeweler to fix it, instead. Gemologica attempted to avoid any responsibility for the poor quality and craftsmanship of the ring and for providing reasonable repairs. The ring wasn't even a month old! Please consider any other jewelry company. I wish that my husband and I had read these other reviews before doing business with Gemologica. "

Extremely poor quality and customer service

"My fiancee bought me a birthstone ring for my birthday. Initial review of the ring it looked good and fit was perfect. However once the ri g was on it immediately began cutting into my finger leaving a couple deep cuts. After a more thorough inspection we found four areas with extremely sharpe edges. When we notified Gemologica customer service the said the cutting was my fault as I must of ordered the wrong size and I should go to a jewler and get my proper ring size. I did just that and he verified the ring and my finger size was correct. However he said in the 40 years he has been in business he never seen anything like this as the ring quality on the exterior looked good but the inner portion has very sharpe edges. He repaired the ring by polishing the sharpe areas. After 45 minutes of labor and a cost of $40.00 to repair the ring is satisfactory at a minimum. Because the webbing so thin it can still cut if the ring is bumped."

HORRIBLE, Poor Quality, Worst Customer Service

"Ordered a $800 14k gold ring and the stone was glued! You could see the glue all around it. For being a gold ring was very light, I don't think it was gold at all. I have silver rings that weight more than it. I returned it and they kept 30% of my money as a “restocking fee”. Yep, I lost $300. It’s a SCAM. Don't fall for it. "

Poorly made products

"Within 24 hours of receiving my ring the gemstones fell out. The products from this company are poorly made and worthless. The company will not refund my money. They will rip you off. Do not buy products from them. The positive reviews on their site are paid for by a company you can pay to write good reviews. I have see. Many bad reviews already but to have an expensive ring fall apart in 24 hours and they are unwilling to make it right is horrible business. This is a rip off company. Trust me. Do not purchase their products .. I even paid for expedited shipping. Now I am no longer In The states so they basically told me tuff luck... They can not help me unless I go back to the states. So I’m out a lot of money that they refuse to refund. Thrives Horrible customer service"

Awesome selection of rings for men

"I'm always hesitant to purchase jewelry online however my new ring was even nicer than pictured. I ordered an 18k gold men's ruby ring which is now my new favorite piece. I'll be back again soon, thanks again for such a pleasant experience! "

"This company is absolutely horrible. I ordered a men's sapphire and white gold ring from Gemologica for $250.00. What a mistake that was. First off, it took forever to be shipped, and when I emailed customer service (because they are so bootleg and unprofessional to not even have a phone number), some worker named Judy, could not even write a complete response without having grammatical errors in her writing. Now, that should ring bells automatically because no respectable company should have inept workers working for them.

Now when we finally got the ring, it came in a flat white box. When we opened the box, inside was the packaging and holding for earrings! If you're gonna get a ring, have it come in the appropriate box. And do not have earring holders inside of the box either. The company probably wanted to fill up the space in the box (being that it wasn't the right box- and it was cheap and made of cardboard). Also, no certification for the ring was included, so you could be buying fake rings.

Now the actual ring... This ring was a joke. The ring was supposed to be white gold- and white gold usually has some weight to it. This ring did not. What so ever. The inside of the ring was hollow and not the same texture all around. You could probably cut your finger from the inside of the ring. The stone most likely not sapphire, just a toy gem. The ring was a size bigger than I wanted, their mistake. The ring honestly could have broke if pushed on hard enough. It was truly a let down.

Now we're in the process of returning the ring. They certainly have this part detailed so beware. There is a restocking fee that you'll have to pay, shipping and handling. There are no full refunds which is a major let down. We should not have 20% of our money taken for absolute garbage. This place needs to be out of business. CUSTOMERS DO NOT BUY ANY ITEM OR LET THESE PEOPLE SCAM YOU!!!!!
