"The receiver I ordered arrived by UPS (as expected) fast and the condition was as described (new).

The unit works fine so no experience with returns. Their e-mail address is at aol.com which I haven't ever seen for a business! But they answered my question within minutes.

"I was hesitant to order through gear4less because of a lack of any history or reviews I could find online. After some research I learned that they have been doing much of their business through ebay since april 1999 with a 99.8% ebay rating, I decided that I would give them a shot.

My initial hesitation was that the item I order may be used. I ordered a pioneer receiver through their website gear4less.net and it was shipped quickly and worked well after installing it. All pieces, cords, remote, manuals, etc were inside the box and it all appears to be new. No scratches, dents, broken knobs, or malfunctioning parts.

There were some issues with checkout / login - which at this time appear to be resolved. I plan to purchase from them again when I'm in the market for more electronics.

I tried to call the number listed on their website after my checkout issues with no answer; however, they were responsive when I emailed them. An initial email response was within about 12 hours and some of my follow up emails were replied to within 1 - 2 hours. They appear to be a small operation perhaps an individual who handles everything from ordering through shipping, billing and returns.

I cannot attest for their return practices as I don't have any issues with my order and don't have any current plans to return.

"Web Site:
The web site looks like it is still needing to be finished. "Customer Care" and "Customer Feedback" sections are completely blank. The only way to get to the "My Account" section is to have a product or group of products displayed. Then "My Account" is visible on the right. If you are at their home page or have clicked one of the tabs at the top you won't find it.

Ordering:
I found Gear4Less with BeatMyPrice.com (great resource for finding low prices). They had the lowest price for some Polk FXi-A4 speakers that I wanted and they had free shipping. Ordering was very easy and straightforward. I paid with Paypal and it took very little time to place the order. Best of all, I didn't have to call them or send emails to "confirm my order."

Outcome:
11/10/2010 Placed the order.
11/11/2010 They acknowleged the order in an email that said they would ship once they received them from the factory.
11/16/2010 Received email notice saying they had shipped the speakers.
11/19/2010 Speakers arrived in good condition.

Verdict:
It would have been better if they had these in stock so they could have shipped sooner, but I wanted the best price and I am willing to wait a couple extra days for that. So, overall I still give them an A+. I wish all online resellers were this good.
