"We've really enjoyed our three seat swing that folds down into a bed from Canadian Tire and were very discouraged that the sun had faded the fabric of the 2 tiered roof to the point of tearing in several places. I was happy to find a company that sells replacements, and the shopping and shipping experience was terrific! However, when I unfolded the roof material, I was surprised and a little shocked that they had installed large grommets on each side of the roof! I thought it was some crazy mistake until I read the instructions that mentioned possibly adding more grommet holes if you want less water build-up. It was true that the original roof had sagged a lot with puddles of water after heavy rains, but who intentionally puts holes in their roof? I rechecked the website and looked at each of the images provided, but couldn't find a single mention or image of grommets. Very strange. We're keeping the replacement and we'll see how much help/or trouble the grommets give, but need to store the original cushions and pillows elsewhere so the rain can't get at them."

"I have a 10x12 roof-style gazebo, purchased several years ago. I replaced the canopy a couple of years ago, and was satisfied. I recently purchased a replacement canopy and netting. While putting it up, I was surprised that there were missing components. First, I expected the netting would come with the hooks, but no. Secondly, there are 4 netting 'covers' that wrap around the netting and corner posts. I expected they would be included, but again, no. Perhaps, this is all my fault. It would have been nice if the product description had spelled this out specifically, which it didn't. I now need to find/order the corner netting wrap covers, and am having difficulty locating this accessory. Thankfully, I kept the old attachment hooks for the netting, otherwise, I'd be searching for them, as well."

"Our last canopy from Garden Winds lasted 10 years however we babied it with some wide tape repairs the last 4 years to keep it going. The new replacement canopy for our very old 10x10 Costco Canopy fit very well and we hope it lasts as well as our last one! Shipping was quite quick and included in the price!
Thanks Garden Winds for still making these replacement canopies. Our Gazebos framework is very well made and we have been using it since 2004 when friends gave it to us when they moved to a condo, so it was already a few years old when we got it. The framework is fairly heavy duty aluminum, so no rust!"
"Ordered a cover to fit a Canadian Tire 10 x12 Gazebo and it was confirmed that it was for my model. When we came to fit the cover it was over 2” short on the length and would not fit. Due to rain and wind it was not possible to try fitting the cover until over the 30 day return policy so we had passed the return period. Also the return instructions say that Canadian orders were subject to a $50 return fee plus shipping and brokerage fees and it was at the discretion of the company to refund the remaining balance."

"Our pergola was purchased from Home Depot a number of years ago. The canopy was shot and needed replaced. Of course, HD no longer sold that pergola and did not have a canopy replacement for it. Their customer service rep pointed me to Garden Winds. I was able to locate a canopy for my pergola, bought it, and it arrived at my house very quickly. One note: make sure you know the model number of your pergola before you shop. Overall, all good."
"I created a user account on the US Garden Winds website, before I discovered that you can't use a Canadian address for shipping. When I called, I was told I would have to order from the Canadian website. Sounds easy. I created a new user account on the Canadian site. Turns out the replacement soft top options available on the Canadian site are crap. I had to keep referring back to the US site to make sure I was ordering the right replacement top. And it's in US dollars, not Canadian.
When I got the top a few days later, it didn't fit. I rotated it 180 degs and it still didn't fit. I solved my problem by cutting 1.5 inches off of one of the corner rails. So much for quality control for items made in China.
Anyway, it fits now, but I'm still not happy with the poor quality manufacturing. I would expect better from a company like Allen + Roth."
