Ordered item with a rebate offer then was told there was no rebate offer 4 months later when I was ready to purchase another item with the $100 that was supposed to be the rebate. Ugh! Big mistake, HUGE! I understand there is no refund just a store credit. That's a shame because I really want a real refund so I can just completely end the relationship!"

Because it's really just a coupon towards a future purchase, the word "rebate" is misleading. Most people think of a rebate as being a check you get at a later date for a current purchase you are making. I think the coupon is a good deal too so I am not saying to change the policy, just change how you advertise (word) it. I plan on making another purchase within the next two weeks because the MacBook we bought in September was stolen when our house was burglarized. :-( (Side note - when I needed the serial number for the police report you all were able to provide that to me in a quick phone call and I was so grateful!).
