"My experience with Gadgettown.com was absolutely HORRIBLE! I ordered 5 replacement Xbox360 drives. I received them about a week and a half later. I had consoles here waiting for these parts. 3 out of the 5 drives were heavily used and filthy....oh did I mention they didn't work. They sell old used stuff with the outside cleaned off and new labels to peel off. This disguises the fact that if you open them up they are just dirty junk on the inside. Their customer service sucked. I called....they said "send an email....don't call us". I sent an email....they said "sorry....not our fault it was shocked during shipment". HUH?? Course no one there speaks or writes good English. After much back and forth, stress and frustration.....I decided to just write it off as a bad experience and take my business elsewhere. I truly was hoping this could be handled well and I could form an ongoing relationship with this company, but it just wasn't meant to be. Hopefully this will help someone keep from making the same mistake I made by giving this company my business."

"I bought a laser pointer for my boss as a Christmas present because he really likes cool gadgets. At first I couldn't get it to work, but your great customer service was incredible at helping me out. User error, it turned out! Great response time, not to mention service!"

"THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE!!! I have been calling for 2 days and no one answers the phone. I did get a reply from the famous "Violet" ,mentioned on another review, and Violet's English is poor and she didn't answer 2 very simple questions about the product I am interested in. After my own experience, and after reading these reviews, because the rare positive reviews on the ratings site seem to be written in the same English as in my emails by our famous Violet, I will not pursue purchasing this product through Gadgettown"

"Please save yourself some grief and order from some place else. I placed an order on 12/8 and my card was charged the same day. A full business day later the order still said it was "processing", which was fine so I contacted their customer service just to ask when it will be shipped. Their customer service representative, "Violet", told me it takes 1-2 business days before an order is shipped. Just to confirm, I asked "Violet" if my order will then be shipped by 12/10 and only got a "sure". Not very professional but whatever. It is now 12/12 and my order status is still "processing". I had e-mail exchanges with two separate customer service representatives, the first one claimed that they have already given my package to USPS but did not receive a tracking number, once they do, they will change my status to "shipped". The second customer service representative responded that my package is not yet shipped but she will ask their shipping department to "hurry". So either the first rep straight out lied or the second rep never bothered to really check on my order. Either way, it's simply unacceptable."

"I bought a $40 item from gadgettown...4 days later they finally sent me notice that my order had been processed. 1 day later they said that my order had been "shipped". that was 14 days ago. The USPS tracking info just says electronic billing received, which could easily mean that they haven't shipped the item yet. I talked to them via email, because they are unreachable by phone, and I spoke to someone who's english skills rivaled those of monkeys, and they just told me to wait five more days....its been more than five days. I'm NEVER going to buy from them again."

"Gadgettown.com offered a black Clocky for sale, I purchased the item. Later that week I received a Chinese knockoff in a box labeled "Alarm Clock, Modern and Elegant in Fashion." When I attempted to contact customer service, the telephone was unanswered, the online help was unavailable, and emails were never returned. Thankfully I had made my purchase through PayPal and have made a claim against gadgettown.com for selling me a knockoff in which their website represented as a Clocky. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. "

"I would like to know how to get in contact with this company. The phone number does not work and their online help is anything but help. I ordered "Sharpie" markers and on their website they are advertised as Shapie brand markers. When I got them, thery were dirty, there was ink all over, the box was made out of paper, and...they were not even SHARPIE! Horrible quaility. I asked for a RMA# to return for my money back and they are not letting me return. It was a $600 order. Going to dispute charges on card but this has been such a huge hassle....Please do not make the same mistake. "

"If you really feel like getting screwed, buy something from this company. I ordered a 10.2 inch digital frame that never came. When I complained that they had charged my credit card for something they did not have, they said it was in the mail. They sent me an 8x6 frame and you could see where they had put the right code label over the label that was on the box. When I complained they wanted pictures. They then told me to return it for a refund or exchange. Anybody beleive that ?? They are a drop ship outfit that will take your money."

"Ordered a laptop screen for my Lenovo Ideapad U330-2267 and the screen which came was completely wrong configuration, manufacture and model. Only thing that was right was size(13.3"). When I informed them it was wrong, they told me it was my mistake for ordering the screen and directed me to a Sony brand screen which was twice as much and even more wrong then the screen they sent me.
Since they have decided it is my mistake, they refuse to give me a full refund.

"This company does not return emails the phone number is not valid as it just rings and then finally you get a busy signal. They sell things that they show in their eBay store they have in stock by several hundred but when I bought and paid for the one item, and then I get an email saying they will refund my payment immediately if I do not wish to wait. So I replied saying that I would like to get my payment refunded per their statement “immediately”. Well 24 hours later and several dozen calls and numerous emails later I still have no response. I would not recommend ANYONE buy or consider buying from this company. This is the worst customer response I have ever experienced. I will tell everyone I know about what and how wrong they have done me. Don't buy from them on eBay or their online store they are scammers."
