Still waiting for a delivery

"The process of ordering was easy but the delivery is a different matter - I was told to call to arrange a white glove delivery, I explained that the pieces I ordered were all small and I didn't need any white glove delivery so it was suggested that the items be dispatched by Fedex. It is over a week alter and I am still waiting to hear if the items have been shipped or not!"

Sara Ferree Hung Up on customer

"Our experience with Henry Lum Varela has been exemplary. We followed the instructions for 50% down payment on our order which covered the total purchase price of the chairs that were in stock. When I was called to arrange delivery they wanted the remaining balance on the full order. This did not make sense to us because we were in the process of selecting the fabrics. I counted the finance person Sara Ferree to understand why more money was needed since the down payment covered the cost of the chairs. She was rude and disrespectful in her tone and response to my questions. She then hung up on me after I asked to speak to her supervisor. After our time with Henry and other staff at Furnitureland I was quite shocked that this was the behavior shown by another employee.
My husband and I work hard to be able to afford to buy furniture and we would like the appreciation of our business to be reflected from all employees. If it weren't for customers there would not be a Furnitureland.

Loved every minute of it

"We set up an appointment ahead of time with a designer Kathy Field. We sent her a lot of information about our style and layout. She was ready for us. We didn’t waste time looking at manufacturers that we wouldn’t be interested in. The time flew by. We were furnishing a kitchen, dining room, front hall and living room - all open concept. It took the better part of a day and a half but we couldn’t be more pleased with our choices and we honestly couldn’t have done it without Kathy. Some of our selections are available off the floor but the majority are special order. My biggest concern before we arrived was not being able to find furniture we liked. We could have furnished 10 or more houses. It really is worth the trip"

Gerald was awesome!

"We were met by Gerald at the front door. He was on his way to do something and turned back around to show us around. He stayed with us for three hours- walking us through the various floors, showing us exactly what we were looking for and answered our questions without hesitation. Once we placed out ordered, his customer service didn't stop there. He kept me informed of my order's status via email and text. He's great. Great experience. I will be returning!"

"Its been over two weeks. No delivery yet. No communication on ETA, called salesman, no call back. We should not have to keep calling to get status, someone with the info on our purchase should be periodically follow up with us!"
