As a gift for a friend's birthday that passed over a month ago, might I add. I have been emailing Fruper EVERY WEEK for the past 2 months (at least 10 emails, supplemented by about 30 angry Tweets) and have received nothing but excuses, 2 empty promises of a refund, and eventually radio silence. Reading these reviews, I can't wait to receive the wrong glasses as well! This site is a complete joke and I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau."

"I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND UPSET. I ordered a pair of their Ray Bans through a deal I found on pinchit with my boyfriend & friends. That was in APRIL. I am the only one who has yet to receive a pair. Everyone else got there's in May. I've emailed 4 times, and every single time they promised that they would send them "within the next week". Do NOT purchase from them! The very first email they sent me they apologized with a "20% discount" off of everything from their store. Only 20% after all the lies and crap they've given me? I also wouldn't be surprised if these weren't real. The pair my boyfriend received did not look authentic, even though the website claims to be. The BBB will DEFINITELY be getting a report from me!"
"I bought a pair of shades from Fruper and they broke after six months. I sent them back and lost my tracking number, which they had asked for. Fair enough. I figured I was screwed since I didn't have a tracking number. They sent me a replacement pair anyhow. You can't ask for much more than that. I highly recommend doing business with Fruper based on my experience."

"Fruper does not respond to customer service emails. I ordered some Ray-Ban Wayfarers from them and they sent me what were clearly the wrong glasses. Totally the wrong shape. Not even close. They claimed they could not confirm this without seeing the glasses, so I sent them a picture showing the glasses they sent me side by side with the glasses they had previously sent my GF. Of course, they suddenly stopped responding to my emails once I sent them this picture. Now I'm stuck with some glasses I didn't order. Don't trust these guys.
Addendum: Once I posted this review and emailed it to Fruper, their customer service team emailed me and issued me a full refund."

"I ordered a pair of Rayban tortoise wayfarers from Fruper.com about 3 weeks ago. I had been longing for a pair of these since a long time when one of my friends bought it for about a hundred dollars. I thought its too lavish to spend a hundred dollars on a pair of sunglasses. But when I visited Fruper.com, I was astonished to find a great deal of the same wayfarers but for 50% less price. I kept thinking about scam and frauds since I couldn't believe there could be such a big price difference. However, it was obvious that Fruper was no scam; it has a good reputation. I asked my friends and they also reassured me about Fruper.
After I got the reassurance, I ordered the wayfarers at once. The ordering and check out method was superb. It has an easy ordering procedure and made everything clear about its policies. It also made clear that shipping would take 2-3 weeks. I was in no hurry so it wasn't a problem for me. Plus, I really liked it that they made it clear so I wasn't even expecting to receive them any sooner. It also clarified all the return policies.
The check out process was great. It was fast, easy and above all, the checkout was processed through paypal which was wonderful since it meant my sensitive information would be secure. After I paid the amount, I received an email giving the details about my order. After 2 days, I received another email that my order was released. I sent an email to them asking how long it will take since I was getting excited by now. They sent me a really quick reply that it will take 2-3 days. I was really happy about it and got more excited. But when I didn't receive the package in 2-3 days, I got worried and sent another email. This time also they were very polite and helpful. They told me my order was on the way and I should expect to receive soon. The very next day, I received the shipment.
The packaging was great and the wayfarers were, like always, beautiful. I tried them on immediately and went for work wearing my brand new sunglasses. Everybody who saw them commented about them and I couldn't help but boast with pride that I bought them for half the price. Everybody was astonished seriously and they came running to me for details. Everyone in my office went crazy and I told told them about Fruper.
This website is great. I had heard about it a lot before but I had never actually tried it. But this time I was so desperate to get those wayfarers but couldn't afford them, that I didn't even think twice when I found the deal at Fruper.
The daily deals are fabulous and after that first order at Fruper, i have ordered 3 more items which I found at very attractive offers. I would definitely recommend this website to everyone. "
