Terrible

"Placed order on 9/30 for sofa cover, bedspread and 2 matching shams. Received part of my order a week later. Received sofa cover, shams but no bedspread. Why would I be sent shams without bedspread is beyond me. When I called customer service I was told that the bedspread was on backorder until mid November (sales rep never mentioned this. Customer service later told me (when asked why wasn't I told) that sales rep may have forgotten to mention it-Amazing). I told them to cancel order for shams and bedspread. Was told my acc was never charged for the bedspread; Now I am trying to verify that info with my bank. Now I can just imagine what my experience will be like in the return process. I had seen the reviews and ignored them because I loved the quilt bedspread and also wanted to give this company a chance. But they failed. "

Bate and Switch Colors

"I ordered a rug in a "Green" Color. The color choices were Green, Praline and Burgundy. The rug arrived in an Olive color which was not green but more of a black. I contacted the company and they said, "The rug shown in the catalogue is Olive which is also a type of green. That is the rug shown. There is no other green."

I searched their catalog - nothing Olive colored in it.

I've asked for a return label - prepaid by them since they sent me the wrong item. I've yet to receive it. If I don't within a week, I'm contacting my credit card company and asking them to withhold payment. That should get their attention.

BUYER BEWARE! ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE!

"I ordered a settee cushion on May 11. After two weeks I emailed them and was told it comes directly from the manufacturer and could take up to 4 weeks. It's been almost 5 weeks and still nothing. I tried to call the 800 number and NO ONE ANSWERS, just music.

I only wish I had paid with PayPal so my purchase would have been guaranteed. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE FRAUDS!!!!!

Never heard of this place until today. I received a letter from them stating "

Thank you for the order you placed with us.
Unfortunately, we cannot process your order as your bank or credit card provider advises us that the name and address on your credit card does not match the name and address on the order (keep in mind they mailed this to my address)

We, as well as your bank/credit card provider, are very concerned about the unauthorized use of a customer's credit card. ( How odd as my bank has always contacted me when they thunk something fishy is going on with my card! and not a peep form them) We take extra precautions when orders received have non-matching credit card information.

We are sorry for the delay in processing your order and hope you understand that our concerns are in your best interest.

In an effort to expedite your order we tried calling you ( checked my phones log and no calls from unknown sources) but have been unsuccessful in reaching you. Please call us with the name and address as it appears on your credit card statement so that we may expedite your order. (Again they mailed this letter to my address LOL) Our direct telephone number is ***-***-**** (answering machine stating the credit card department of Harriet Carter and Fresh Finds, leave your name and number and problem) . If you wish, you may mail this information to us in the enclosed postage page envelope (not a chance in hell- address is different than letterhead to PO Box 1181 North Wales, P@ 19454-9963

If you decide to send us a check or money order rather than use your credit card, please make payable to Fresh Finds in the amount of $99.97 and send top us in the attached postage paid envelope. (Notice no mention of what thew money was buying or an invoice #)

Never Again

"Ordered an item online for my mom who's pretty much a "Luddite". Three weeks after placing the order it hasn't shipped and the status is simply "Open". Go ahead and call their 1-800 and Wait for as long as you want, they're not picking up. Well, that's not entirely true, after spending over an hour on hold over three calls the person I spoke with was able to tell me, "The guy that handles that just left for the day. I'll leave him a message and he'll call you back tomorrow. HA! You can guess what (didn't) happen next. It's been terminal hold every time I've tried to call since then. "

Not Navy as stated; purple is not navey, return label is unusable!

"First I ordered a NAVY BLUE bed skirt. Received a dark purple. Asked for return label. First they can't send it via email only snail mail. Then receive label with bar code and number that is not legible by Post Office, request another label. Same thing. First I will not order anything from them and second thing their return procedure is TERRIBLE! Do not recommend! If I could I would give a ZERO!"

"Have gotten a few good products over the years, but most recent order purchased glass microwave popcorn popper that broke after using 3 weeks, and 2 pomegranate deseeders that didn't work at all and made a mess. By the time paid for shipping back, plus add the original shipping, I have lost money over pieces of junk. Also found out that Fresh Finds and Harriet Carter come from the same warehouse and accounting dept and got double billed because left in online cart 4 days and then added 2 items."

"Their customer service was responsive about sending me a refund but a glass cookie jar I ordered arrived in pieces. The knucklheads who packed it used brown paper instead of bubble wrap. Really? You have to be pretty dumb to wrap fragile glass without padding. With so many catalog companies to choose from on the net I probably won't order from them again."

"I have ordered from these folks before & was happy. Then I ordered two rugs valued at over $100. The description in the catalog called them NEUTRAL colors. To my surprise neutral included a large part of the two rugs being a bright sort of prussian blue -- not what I would call neutral at all and totally did not work with my hosue. Tried to contact them 5 separate times to ask for a free return label at least (I already was charge $16.98 for original shipping). After 3 weeks, have given up & will return at my expense to at least get the $90 for the rugs back but this is very upsetting that it will cost me over $30 in freight for products that were misrepresented -- and then to get no response at all to several messages -- this will be the last order Fresh Finds gets from me. Very, very disappointing, and costly to me."

"Poor and deceptive. I will never use them again. Watchout for the return policy when you want to mail back JUNK. No responce given when you write a complaint. Some of the products can be very harmful, The denture cleaner is one the is not recommended for denture in US. Believe me they would not pay for new dentures if they were broken. Both the items we purchased have to be sent back and they do not want to pay shipping for returns . That should tell anyone that they do not back up what they sell. Beware. They should be investigated also for selling names and making it difficult to remove yourself from the list. That is criminal here. Why they get away with it, I will never know. Don't Buy from them. No Trust and POOR SERVICE AND JUNK"
