Sturdy and looks like the pic

"I have been looking for a bunk bed twin over full for quite some time now. We wanted one with storage space so our girls would have more room to move around in with less furniture taking up the space to play in. This one was perfect. Actually arrived a couple days early if I remember correctly. My husband put together in a matter of hours with no problems. There were 2 pieces of wood that were damaged upon arrival, but barely...The finish was knicked but it was the pieces that face the back side so we weren't upset about it. Sturdy, beautiful and kids love it."

Complete Hassel

"I bought furniture from their web site. It was $100 cheaper than competitors. They charged my cc. Two days later I get an email that I have to provide documentation that I own the house where the items are delivered. I don't have utility bills as I do everything digitally now. And I'm not wasting an afternoon going down to the county court house to get a copy of the deed. Screw these people I told them cancel my order I want a refund. Now it's a fiasco to get my money back."

EXTREMELY HAPPY!

"i felt like we should leave a review since i see a lot differing opinions. we found a living room set (sofa, love seat, reading chair and ottoman) that we really liked and the price (including shipping) was unbeatable! this had to be too good to be true. we placed our order and it said between 1-2 weeks for delivery. we have a big house warming party coming up so timing was kind of a factor. we were contacted about a week after placing our order asking for confirmation of address by credit card holder. that made me hopeful - felt like progress. then a couple of days later a phone call from delivery service stating they were coming in the next day or two and would call night before to arrange a drop off time. after we arranged a delivery window, they called 1/2 hour out and were here right on time. they delivered our furniture right to the door step, were very courteous, the furniture was well-packed, and once we unwrapped it we discovered that ... it was perfect! better than we expected! yes, there is something of a language barrier but patience and working with the seller certainly got us exactly what we wanted. plus our expectations in the actual furniture were far exceeded. thanks again, we will be back for sure!"

Great customer service

"Flatfair had the best price overall for the product (dining set) I was looking for. Even though they don't include shipping, the total price was still less than multiple sites I had searched. After reading the online return policy I was concerned that if I had a problem or damaged item that it would be difficult to resolve. I soon found I had no need to worry. The dining set, minus 2 chairs that were being shipped separately, arrived within the time stated, about 6 weeks. I wasn't in a rush & was aware of the time frame. However there was a damaged chair back despite the packaging looking OK. I simply called customer service, they told me what info & pictures of damage to include in an email to their service department. They were extremely helpful & polite on the phone. The service department also answered my email promptly & replaced the item. When the other 2 chairs arrived, one of them as well had a damaged seat back. (Must be a weak spot in the style I chose.) I was concerned since I had to replace yet another part. The service department gave me no issues. The outsourced shipping company may not be ideal, but the customer service was excellent despite my damaged items. I would purchase from them again now that I have confidence they will help with any unresolved issues."

"I bought a dresser from them. I was not home when it was delivered. When I opened the box, I saw the dresser was damaged in multiple areas. Flat Fair will not return my calls or emails. I;m out 600 dollars. "

SCAMMERS!

"On January 14th 2017 I placed an online order upon receiving my invoice I noticed a color discrepancy, and immediately sought to cancel this order. On January 15th 2017 I received an email, and updated invoice ensuring all charges had been voided, and that the order had successfully been canceled. Upon checking my banking statements the account reflected this to be true. However, today on January 18th new charges reflect the original purchase amount of $674.00. I have made several attempts regarding this matter and have had no resolve. I have not been contacted, reassured, nor kept current regarding these misallocated funds. At this point I am vey irate and dissatisfied with the lack of service being provided, especially regarding something of this magnitude. I have also reached out via phone speaking with a representative named Luis who was of no assistance. Emails unanswered. BEWARE!"

Curbside "In my Area"?!

"In a household of retired old men, there is no way we are able to carry the couch we ordered up three flights of stairs. I told them that $179.00 for delivery should accommodate them to bring it inside. They replied that they don't do in home delivery in my area. Not to mention that when I ordered the couch, it said that they offer in home delivery, then two days later emailing me that I should be aware that they'd only drop it on the curb. No thank you. Order was cancelled. It was saddening that their only solution to this was to ask someone else to come and carry it in for me. Very difficult task when you've just moved here from another state. Extremely poor customer service. "

Great Chair, Awful Business

"Flat Fair advertised a much lower price than their competitors for the product I purchased. It wasn't until I was checking out that I discovered the shipping cost covered the difference. After I made my order (March 18, 2016), I received an invoice, but there was no shipping date. Five days later, I was sent a poorly worded email that explained the item I ordered was not in stock, and would require additional time to ship. I waited an additional three days (March 26), then emailed the company to inquire about the status of the order. The next day, I received an email stating the item still wasn't in stock. On March 29 (eleven days after my order), I received the following email. I am quoting it directly, in it's entirety:
"Hi [Customer]! We thanks for your waiting! We talked with the manufacture about this status of this order. They said it is failed to transfer from other warehouse since nobody have it now. The estimate available date for this item will be Mid of April, would you like to consider to wait? Or we will cancel this order for you. We are apologize for this inconvenience caused to you! Please advice! Thank you!"

I opted to wait, since the shipping from another company would have likely caused my merchandise to arrive around the same time anyway. The next day (March 30), I was emailed again. Flat Fare had managed to get everything together and was going to be able to ship my merchandise within the next few days. On April 1, I received shipping confirmation through a company called Custom Co. The email explained that I would need to schedule a delivery with the driver, and the driver would call me to schedule. On April 6, CustomCo's tracker said the package would be delivered by 8pm that day. When I hadn't received a phone call by 6pm, I called the shipping company to attempt to schedule the appointment for delivery. The package had been contracted to a local shipping company and was still being tracked by CustomCo, but they could not provide me with contact information for the new shipping company.

When the truck did arrive today, at the time the driver and I scheduled, he arrived at my apartment complex with a 40' semi trailer.

I didn't really mind waiting for my merchandise. I wasn't really upset that Flat Fare couldn't give me the same answer from one day to the next. I was a bit frustrated that the shipping company contracted my package, but that's their prerogative, and I understood why (nevermind the fact that I can't figure out why an online retailer boasting national curbside delivery used a California based freight company to accomplish that). Talking to my delivery driver six times in an hour to act as his navigation system wasn't even that troublesome.

But standing in the road in front of my apartment complex, guiding a full size semi-trailer out on to the road, and stopping traffic in four directions for the better part of thirty minutes while this guy backed his trailer out into the street? That's asking a bit much, Flat Fare.

0/10 stars. Would not order again.

Reading other reviews, this company seems to have a lot of backordered merchandise, and the customer appears to find out through email days after the order is placed. They also seem to have similar shipping issues.

P.S.: merchandise arrived in great shape, was exactly what I wanted, and I couldn't be more pleased. With the merchandise, I mean.

I hope somebody at Flat Fare reads this. And I hope it's somebody that can fix their process. 21 days from start to finish. Had I gone to the retailer with the next best price for identical merchandise, I'd have paid $34 more, and I would have had my merchandise in 10 days at maximum, probably delivered on a box truck by a driver that knows the area.

I was too generous earlier. -10/10. Will actively recommend any other service to literally anyone.

worst ever!

"I ordered furniture February 10th. Our account appeared to be charged twice and it took us a week to resolve this. Keep in mind flat fair had their money. And we were never informed they would not be sending our furniture. I got ahold of them by calling sometimes 30+ times a day. Mostly no answer. And was told they had to have me release it.ok so release it. March 10th a month later still no furniture. I called and was told the next day a Friday or the beginning of the following week. We received an email on the 17th saying it was shipped... the tracking number said it would be delivered the 22nd which is a tuesday. It is now Thursday and we have received nothing. I had to contact the company again and they made me call the shipping company myself. The shipping company had no problem delivering it the 29th because we are not available in the evening and that's the only time they would deliver. We are only available at that time Monday and tuesday. But seeing as we are getting married next month we have things to do monday. Easter is Sunday and we have no furniture in our house. Now they are trying to charge us 50 dollars a day storage to keep the packages until tuesday. After a month and a half of waiting for the furniture they should do that for free. If they would have brought it when they said we wouldn't even need it to be stored. I asked for money back and they want to charge us a restocking fee. We are looking into a lawsuit. Avoid this company at all cost and please inform everyone you can to stay away."
