"Terrible experience. They don't know their product line. They had an item that was discontinued by the manufacturer and replaced with an updated/current same model different model designation #. They had both listed on their site for the same price. I didn't catch this issue until it was enroute. Todd told me to refuse package. I did and it took way to long for a partial refund. He charged me $20.67 for shipping a small package less than 2 lbs. What a ripoff."
"I was always in the loop on the status of my order (e-mail and via my FT account).
This was my first order with Fedtactical and was not sure how it would be shipped and if I'd have a tracking number. I mailed once before ordering and once to ask about the shipping/tracking number. Both times Todd responded in a timely & professional manner.

Well This review will be updated depending how how they choose to handle my order.
I placed an order, there is no shipping info as far as time (days:weeks etc..) Just 3 options. I sent an email which was promptly responded to, to which i replied with questions about this very thing, and about my order when i could expect it. Well I never heard back from them yet they responded promptly within 20 mins or so of my original message.
Call me paranoid, whatever. Ive had bad experiences with online retailers. And the fact i dont have a shipping number the day after ordering the item that was "in stock" Or an email response to my VERY simple question. It leaves me feeling like im getting Had or at least taken advantage of as an online customer by just being made to wait . Funny how i get a response almost immediately then a whole day goes bye with no actual answer to my question or shipping info.
As i said we will see how they choose to handle this, as a judgement factor of my final rating. so far? 1star for poor customer contact and support. This initial review is just to make them aware of my situation an see if they will do more than "todd" has through email.
I run my own business and short of family emergency's and power outages, I reply to all my customers TIMELY and as soon as possible. We will see what todd does for me."
"Great place to do business with. Their response (via email only) is very fast (my experience on several occasions has been always under 12 hours, sometimes considerably less). "Prices good. But charged for insurance and handling ($2.71) when shipping was already $12 on $94 worth of merchandise. Ordered on 11/20/13 and did not receive until 11/25/13. Compared to another company which shipped five items all packaged about the same size and also shipped by USPS on 11/27/13 and received 11/29/13. Tracking info showed that each package had to travel about the same distance."
