"I will consider shopping at Fantasy Toyland again. My only complaints were the lack of response once the order was entered letting me know the order was received and the status of my order. I also called the customer service department and was automatically transferred to the proper department but was on music hold for close to an hour before a person answered the phone but this person did answer my questions after putting me on hold again for a few minutes."

"My experience was not good. Costumes have not arrived yet and ordered on 10/22/12. Had to wait on phone 15 min. to get customer service. Received no email on delivery. Will not order again."

"We ordered a costume for my 7 mo. old son on Oct. 8. The costume never arrived. Our son won't be able to wear the costume we bought for Halloween. Next year he will have grown out of it! We could never get through to customer service on the phone. The online tracking system from their website didn't work, and they never answered our emails. You don't have an option to leave a message when you call, and all of their different numbers lead to the same line with radio music playing. They never answered and there is nothing we could do.

"It took 9 days for my item to even get out of the warehouse. This is way to slow!!! I might not even get my infants coustume before Halloween now. Which does not make me happy. I will not order from this website again. "

"Originally put a really bad review. After 30 minutes on hold finally got in touch with someone and got my tracking number and should be at my house by the end of the day.
The problem with FT is that they do not make things clear with tracking number etc. then they take forever to answer the phone so as a costumer it can be very frustrating.

"Not a good experience. My odrer was comfirmed on 10/17 I called the customer service and the wait time is far too long. I tried tracking my package and the tracking # doesn't disclose what shipping carrier used and I don't have any idea when I will recieve my package. this very discouraging to use this company again. halloween is less than a week away and I would like for my son to be able to wear the costume."

"I will NEVER use them again. Item purchased on 10-19, I have not received an shipping confirmation and it is the 24th, I need it by the 26th. Their customer service is a JOKE!!! The phones ring and don't go anywhere, they don't return faxes. Now, I will probably have to buy something else for my daughter and have the POS I ordered and they charged me for already. This is the worst I have ever experienced in customer service. And they don't have an email that goes to customer service either......I think this place is a SHAM. I'd give them no stars if I could!!!!!


****UPDATE*****
I have been able to talk with customer service, but it is because they contacted me in response to this review. I was pleased they did, and they are going to issue a return slip and refund for the item. They did say they had a huge call volume at the time, but still I did not get anywhere until they saw this review. I do believe they want to do right by anyone who had a bad experience,but there has to be a better way to communicate with them. I would suggest a redesign of the website to make it more user friendly with contact information more easily accessible. Thank you Audrey for your help,I certainly do appreciate it.

"They did not have the item in stock but had already charged my credit card for the item. I have emailed a request to customer service to have the charge removed. Awaiting response. Customer service phone number is useless as no one answers the phone. I did have a response within about 24 hours to the initial email requesting info on when my order would be shipped. They informed me that they had previously emailed me to notify me that the item was out of stock. I never received an email to that effect. However, in this response, they apologized for any inconvenience and welcomed any further questions. I find it VERY inconvenient that my card was charged $43.14 for an out-of-stock item and will see if they credit my card. "

"Same issue as most. No email verification when an order was placed, no tracking number, online login does not work, and excessive wait times on the phone. No clue when my order will come. Waisted $40 on a product that will come after our parties.

Update: Been on hold for over an hour trying to contact them. As I write this update I'm still on hold for over an hour. Decent radio station though....

Update 11/13/2012: Received package however it came after the party I was planning on wearing it to. I would have canceled the order but was never able to get a hold of a person b/c the phone wait times were so excessive. The costume was exactly what I ordered, and if I did not care about timing, I may consider using them, I just don't think they have the capacity to deal with the volume close to their peak season. So if you are buying within 2 weeks of when you need it and that is around Halloween....BUYER BEWARE!!!

"I have not recieved my package yet and I ordered it a week ago. I need it by this weekend. I was not told when I would receive my package but I expected to revived it in less than a week and a half. I would like to know an updated status of my package seeing as the tracking on the site says my package still has not been shipped, and in that case, my package may not arrive on time. I would love to have my package as soon as possible and know where it is at. Thank you. Until I have my package, my review and experience stands as very dissatisfied. Thank you for your time."

"After ordering costumes, I never received notification that they they had my order, When I contacted them they told me my order was packaged and ready to ship, A week later, I still didn't have my shipping notification and was told AGAIN it was packaged and ready to ship. When I inquired further as to why it hadn't been shipped, I was told that one of my items was back ordered and so therefore had never been packaged and ready to ship. I have cancelled my order and am waiting for a refund. "
