Not satisfied.

"Unfortunately I am unsatisfied with this company. I was very excited when I first discovered this site. The price was $40 cheaper than buying them from my eye doctors. However, I'd very much rather pay the extra for quality and experience.
After I ordered, it took the 5 full business days to receive. Not a big deal, it does state 3-5. Then a friend questioned if it was delivered to your door or mailbox and I never thought about that, but I was hoping it wasn't delivered in the mailbox. It was a constant -25 to -30 c or colder the past few days. So I made sure to check the shipping information regularly, especially on the expected date of arrival. Of course not he day they came it said "delivered to community mailbox". I was hoping they weren't out there for over an hour. Although lucky me it was only -9 that day. UNLUCKY me the mailman gave me the wrong key for the parcel box!! Now this part isn't the websites fault at all. I frantically called the post office to get the right key. Then when they said they put the right parcel key in my mailbox I lost my only mail key!!! I called and begged if they could get my contacts from the parcel box and deliver to my house because getting a new key takes a week. Thankfully they did, but my contacts were outside for at least 4 hours and they weren't frozen, but were quite cold. Now I wasn't very happy and emailed customer service of contact express to let them know I wouldn't buy due to non-door delivery. They emailed back, saying the contacts shouldn't be affected by the cold, but then backtracked and said if they freeze to thaw them out at room temperature. Obviously they aren't aware that contacts must be stored at room temperature.
Now it's been close to a full month of wearing these monthly contacts and they Star definitely of poorer quality. I could feel them starting the decline at 2 weeks, but now I definitely have to change them soon. Even though they are monthlies I have never experienced that with my previous supplier.
I was going to reconsider buying again even after the door delivery thing, but definitely not after experiencing the quality of them.

"This company DOES NOT respond to voice mails or emails. I have yet to receive my contacts and my credit card has been charged. I've emailed them 3 times. I've also called and left 5 voice mails. I didn't receive a tracking number, which is normally emailed once the product has been sent. I'm not sure if I've been scammed or not, but I have put in a complaint with the BBB. "

"Totally unresponsive. Called twice, left voice messages asking about my order - no reply. I tried to send an email to the only email address (found in the RETURNS page) and it was rejected by the ISP (AOL) - no explanation provided.

I can only assume that this company is no longer in business, although they still maintain an active website.

Stay away!!

"Found out after purchasing contacts thru Express Contacts.com that they will not give me a provider number to submit to my insurance company in order to receive my vision benefits. Will not do business with this company again, which is too bad as I thought their pricing and response time was very good. "
