"If I could give this place -100 stars, I would. I placed an order on September 11, 2023. I did expedited shipping (2-3 business days). It has now been almost a full week and still no text book. This place is based out of California. It is funny that not even day later my card information was used to sign up for not ONE but TWO different memberships based out of California. I happened to check my account today September 17, 2023 to see how much money I had. And noticed a charge of $60 posted today. I call this place called "glam fitness" and they said I opened an account with them last MONDAY (September 11, 2023). No I DID NOT. So I asked for them to close that account and refund the money, which he says okay we can do that. I then go grocery shopping today and spend $100. I check my account again after to make sure my money was refunded and then I see another company charged me $30, again based out of California. I then called my bank and disputed these charges and canceled my card. I then went on Everyday text to reach out to see if I am even going to be getting a text book or if I also need to dispute this charge, and every time I try to send an email it says "error". There is also a phone number you can text or call. When I text the number it says invalid. I have such a bad feeling I will never get my textbook, but I am glad I noticed this invasion when I did and was able to dispute this ridiculous charges. Please do not buy from this website, even if you get your textbook it is not worth it if they use your debit or credit card to rack up a million charges for different companies!!!!!"
"I rented a textbook for a college nursing class from Everytext,com for $70 ish bucks. At the end of my course, I had emergency surgery so was not going to make the return date. I reached out to the company and explain the situation I was unable to drive, lift etc. due to the surgery I had. I even offered to provide a doctor's note. The company gave me an extension, which I was grateful for. The company reached out to me at the extension date and requested I send the book back, I again explained I am still under restrictions but would try to get it back by the end of the week. This company then proceeded to threaten me with a $480.00 fine for the book I rented for $70ish bucks. Then threaten criminal charges and even possible jail time for "THEIFT." This type of communication continued for 3 days, which each email I received from them I would ask them to stop all form of commination, as well informed them i would be filing a formal complaint. This did not help. They continued to argue with me like a child, I finally was able to return the book. I provided the company tracking information and again asked for them to stop all form of communication. It finally stopped until today months later. THIS time they reached out to me via text - yet again threating me with reporting to my credit report (which they don't have my ss#) I used to work in this field on a government level. They threaten jail time/ criminal charges of theft. Yet again, I informed them that I have returned the book months ago. I as well informed them to stop all forms of communication. I also provide which FDCPA laws they were validating due the fact they were now representing themselves as collection company. This company is a fake company trying to steal money from people and scare people out of money! They need to be shut down. There are PAGES ON PAGES just like this very story. they must be stopped. "
"I just ordered the book right now and didn’t bother to look at reviews until after I ordered it. I literally only saved dollars and now I’m worried I won’t be getting the book. I quickly went to the website and tried to cancel my order but every time I do it just takes me back to the same page and I don’t think it actually cancelled it. I am now very concerned and feel like I fs got scammed :/ "
"I recently placed an order for a textbook that I needed ASAP. I paid the $6.99 for expedited shipping but never once received tracking information OR the book. I emailed customer support and they said that the book should have reached me by now. They were nice enough to refund my money but couldn’t tell me why I hadn’t received the book. In my opinion the book was never shipped. I will not try this company again. I’m happy about receiving my money back but I don’t like my time being wasted. "
"The Everytext LLC employee who called me was rude, hard to understand, unprofessional, and aggressive. Also, he threatened me with illegal price gauging if I did not immediately do "what he said". As a graduate student I have rented and bought books at many websites, but this was the worst, the absolute worst that I have ever been treated by any business and I do not recommend that anyone use their services or shop at this company! If there was a 0 rating, I would put 0! Not only did the employee accuse me of being delusional, crazy, and a drug addict, but he was angry and upset even before I said one word to him. There is a reason this company is not accredited, has a D rating with the Better Business Bureau and that they have man complaints against them, all of us cannot be delusional!"

"i rented a book 7/29/21 that was to be returned by 12/22/2021. we didn't have any issues with the delivery time or the book itself, but my wife unexpectedly finished with it by mid october 2021 and i reached out and asked if i could return it early for a partial refund. Matt K. said yes, and promptly sent a return label. i returned the book right away but was never issued any type of refund. i followed up several times via email and by comment on their website. i tried to call as well but it went to a full voicemail. so not a completely terrible experience, but not all that great either in the end. i would revise my review to give a 4th star if i ever received my refund."
"I ordered a textbook. They claimed that it was a new book from some international edition. I got the book on time, but describing it as "new" would be flattering. While it doesn't seem to have been owned, it's been creased, perhaps by water. In any event, I emailed their customer service 4 days ago and haven't heard back. Mistakes happen, but not responding to email is a problem."
"The website offers really great deals and great communication. Both of my book arrived within a week of each other, meaning I got my first book six days after purchase and my second 5 days after that. If you ever have questions or want the tracking number you can just email the site with the email provided and they get back to you with a day or two. The books are in pretty good condition, at least for me. Keep in mind they are rental books that come from different sellers, so you might a brand new one, but you also might get a used one. I didn’t really care only because I just needed mine for one semester. Overall, Im pleased. "

"This website deserves -5 stars, that's how bad they ****. Matt K is the most useless person I've ever encountered in my entire life. The first copy of the book I ordered (that I paid $72 for) never arrived, so I asked for a second copy. That never arrived, so I asked for a refund. Instead, they sent a third copy of the book, which also never arrived. I've sent a total of 4 emails asking then demanding a refund and I haven't heard a single word back. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMING YOU. Absolutely ridiculous."

"Don’t order from this site. Matt K the guy who runs the site is completely unprofessional and rude. My book was suppose to arrive on the 11th of July and it didn’t come at all but apparently (according to Matt) it was delivered and left on my door step in the 19th. Which is still 8 days late technically but like I said, never even seen this book. You can’t reach anyone on the number provided until you dispute the charges from not receiving the book. Not only did he request that I reverse my dispute, he also asked me to send the book I didn’t get back as well. So I pay you for nothing? Yeah, no. You already tried that by not delivering the book to me in the first place. And if I didn’t do that, he was going to report me to the DA for online fraud plus $480+ in fees. The book I was suppose to get is $60, where is he getting these extra fees from? I explained to him that I didn’t receive the book and he called me a liar and did a background check on me. Accusing me of being a liar and thief. I’m blown away that this guy thinks this is how you handle business and customer service. Definitely a scam, and if anyone should be reported to the DA, it’s him. This company is a joke and I wish Amazon had the textbook I needed available so I could’ve avoided this entire waste of time. "
