"I have been looking at cable locators for 6 months to locate irrigation piping with tracer wire on our ranch. There are many choices and many options along with a large variety of prices. I thought I had one picked out for my needs but when I called Engineer Supply to ask some questions the young lady that took the call actually asked about my proposed use and really seemed to understand what I wanted to do with the unit. She suggested a Loki Contractor unit made by Schonstedt instead of the one I was thinking about. She then called Schonstedt to get their input to make sure this unit would be good for my application. This unit was about $600 cheaper than the one I had called about. I was impressed that she actually listened to what I had to say about my needs and understood it. I don't have her name but I hope her employer will recognize her for the good job she did. When the unit arrived I was able to locate the pipe and tracer wire 7 feet deep and make the repairs with no damage to the pipe. A great locator and great service.

Not so happy with a third response saying my order had been cancelled and my money was being refunded. "But what about my stapler - and who cancelled my order?" I asked. We posted the wrong price and we cancelled the order, was the reply. I can't say I blame them for not supplying me a stapler for ~ $60 that I eventually had to pay amazon $108 for, but I also can't say I was happy with the whole transaction.
