"Edit: Based on recent correspondence from Electronics-Expo I am going to change my review and rating to full five stars. That customer service reached out to me with the sincerest of concern I feel this is a major benefit to consumers - they really care about our experience.
Since the order below that prompted my initial review I decided to give them another chance, and ordered a high-end AVR. I was most pleased that this came double-boxed and with sufficient padding to protect the electronics. I am completely satisfied both with cost and assurance the product was not damaged.

I must say, I was surprised and displeased that the Panasonic blu-ray player I purchased from Electronics-Expo did not come double-boxed, it was shipped just as I might walk out of a Best Buy. Since this was my first purchase my concern prompted me to contact them to determine whether this was the norm (I have other electronic purchases to make) and never received a reply.
Prices are great, shipping was expedient, but I do have a concern that all of my orders might reach me in undamaged condition.
I bumped my review up to 3 stars, ironically Electronics-Expo pointed me to this review site, which I thought was admirable despite their lack of addressing my concern."
"I called their toll free number to inquire about an open box item. To my surprise the salesman offered me a brand new Definitive Technology SuperCube 2000 for only a few dollars more. Of course I scooped up that deal in an instant. So far so good. And it kept being good. Sub arrived a day early, in perfect shape, and sounds terrific.
Overall this was a very pleasant experience. Plus if you are into old school audio, try to get Rich H. to talk to you. This guy knows his stuff, and he has a lot of stuff. Very cool dude."
